@11palkia I suppose. :P I'm not very much of a deck maker though. Especially with such limited cards (60). But I'm sure if I had more of the cards from this set, I'd be able to make a better deck. :) Aaaaand that's what a booster box is for. ;)

@The4anime Well... I guess. But not really. The admission cost to get into the tourney covers the cost of the packs. 8 packs + Prerelease Sleeves = $25. :) Pretty good deal if I say so myself. :)

how do u play the 40 card deck? like do u just use attacks without energy or something?

im going to my pre-release on saturday and would like a heads up =D

To answer your question, you're given 6 packs to form a deck of 40. But those are including energies that your tournament/organizer should supply you. So all you're doing is, first, making a deck with the Pokemon type that you pull the most (that's how I do it at least), along with trainer cards and whatnot. Then you just fill the rest of your deck with energies. Usually, people have about 20 cards of Pokemon and trainers and then 20 energies. Helps?

@Poketrader3270 No, it's a Pokemon Organized Play event where certain card shops (given, you have an tournament organizer in the area) have tournaments where it's a tournament using cards from the new set. But the cards are the ones that you, yourself, pull from packs that you're given after you pay a $25 admission fee into the tournament.

@PokemonLv63X Oh, at the prerelease tournament, they put those boxes up on a counter after they take out the packs to distribute for the tournament. So I just go up to the counter and get it. :)
