  • 4:36, first time I saw that shit I threw my controller across the room, then I rushed at it to pause the game, then I turned off the xbox. Also, after I grew the balls to play through this mission, those faint voices in the background, I could've sworn they were calling my name... Did this happen to anyone else?

  • @malibutaa @ EDIT; I ment 5:36

  • @malibutaa ya they are talking backwards heheh it sounds really crazy

  • @420Stig YEAH YEAH YEAH!! THOSE VOICES!!! They messed with my head while I was doing this mission. I swear I heard them call me.

  • @malibutaa XD yea this is one of my fav missions and the widow moiras house i liek that mission a lot cause of the sea sounds and the whole story unfolds really wellw ith how garret gets the item and how it came to be there in the first place etc. the pre-mission in the abysmal gale or whatever its called when you look for the manifest is fun too. undead in TDS remind me of playing thief dark project. i used to love flashing them to death and beating on them with holy arrows. they are fast!! ;D

  • @420Stig Yeah, I was hoping there would be holy arrows in Deadly shadows, but instead they made holy water vials. I hope thief four has a lot of all the previous thief games elements and I hope you still play as Garret,, although, I remember after beating Deadly Shadows, I said out loud; that little girl is the next thief, We'll see.

  • @malibutaa ya this next few years is gonna be really good for gamers. we got the ever anticipated duke nukem forever finally commin out in june. we got diablo 3 commin out sometime this winter hopefully. thief 4 in the making for about 3 years now, and same with HL:2 episode 3... hopefully both with release dates in 2012 or 2013 :D :D

  • @420Stig Wow, you like the same games I like, you are cool. Your damn right about all those games you mentioned.

  • @malibutaa heheheheheh add me up! im doin some more walkthroughs soon and u might like them ;)

  • @malibutaa Something else I love about your walkthrough. You don't talk on a mic about things we don't want to hear about. You just play the game and show people the way.

  • First time I played this level, I was scared shitless. The beauty of the first playthrough is that you keep sneaking around, instead of running though it fast like you do, half expecting something to come at you from the shadows ... ... but nothing happens. Freaked me out.

  • @olehenning ya i agree, the only downside to making a walkthrough is that you have to know where almost everything is in order for it to succeed and look good on video without being 20+ hours long hehe. but ya i totally agree, it was definately more fun + scary the first 5 times i played this level.

at first i didnt know that there werent enemies in the first part of the level so like you said id sneak the whole thing and get jumpy at all the noises etc :D hella fun

  • what version is this? and how do u get to 3rd person mode?

  • @MnMnEPIC this is the default version i believe. i think the key to change views is V by default

  • augh....this part the first time around was too much for me....i keep expecting an undead to pop out....which kinda happened later.....

  • This level scares the fuck out of me .

  • i love this level :)

unfortunately i jsut lost access to my old hd, a crucial file has become corrupt! XD

anyways thx 4 the comment :P

  • I was watching House on Haunted Hill, and noticed the film has a lot of things in common with this level, you know, an abandoned asylum, ghosts, few light and, of course, both scares the shit out of anyone...

  • hehe ya, personally i think there should be a lot more realism in the game. (see my latest video upload for more info)

  • He's going to find a bottle of blood and get rid of it because a voice in his head told him to. Makes perfect sense.

And for that matter, why are they still using arrows if they've got electricity?

All in all creepy, especially near the end.

  • firearms were invented centuries before electricity was discovered

  • hmm should I use an arrow that is fairly silent and won't alert everyone in the whole damn place or should I use a gun that creates and incredibly loud sound especially in close confinements...

  • Amazing how few thieves were using arrows. Ever.
