  • Nice

  • connie4747where do I go to find out what to do when the blade drags and rips the fondtain

  • what do u mean by using any cricut cartidgesssssssssssss

wohoooooho so i can buy cricut expression's cartridge to be used for the cake ??

  • They did claim it is a new machine. The Expression has the same stainless steel parts. Look at the pictures. The stainless steel dials and other parts are just painted plastic. MrRightfighter, myself and hundreds of others know the truth. It is the exact same machine as an Expression. Same materials, same parts. We were sold a lie, all of the electronic cutters are food safe. The only thing to touch the gum paste is the mat and blade. Buy the machine if you want, but know what you are getting.

  • The Cricut Cake machine is a fake. Don't believe me? There is a video on youtube called CRICUT CAKE IS A FAKE. The pictures show the Expression and Cake side by side. Same machine inside and out, just a few minor changes. Looks like Provo Craft has some explaining to do. They did not make a new machine, a lot of false claims on Provo Crafts part.

  • @MrRightfighter Did they claim to make a new machine? They are the same... except The cake has stainless steel parts and is food safe, necessary changes if you want to use the machine with food. I don't understand your concern.

  • I want to know, if its posibble to cut figures on polymer clay with this. I will never use it for food. I just want to know if it will be usefull on my bussiness. ( handcrafts )

    Thank you !!!

  • Has the cricut machine been approved by any health department? I work in a restaurant and our cooking and cutting utensils must be stainless steel so I'm curious if this machine is also safe from the plastic cutting sheet?

  • @LVWNTX The product has stainless steal parts and YES, it is food safe! That's why they had to design a whole new machine, so al the parts would be safe for food use.

  • cricut cake.... possible to use USB? does it come with the usb cable?

  • In response to some of your questions, you can not cut paper with this, would you want paper etc in your food? Plus the blades are different. The Cake is made with food safe materials and stainless steel so you could not use the expression to cut the frosting sheets gum paste and fondant

  • Can this machine able to be used for paper as well?

  • @diemern you need to purchase the housing and blade for the expression, and the cutting mat, too. By changing the blade and the mat...I use mine to cut cupcake wrappers.

  • A lady on the food channel was using a computer to pull images from. To put on to something like this machine. Is it the same machine?

  • According to Provo Craft, it will be released in May. The retail price will be between $400-500.

  • This machine is absolutely fantastic!!! When will it be available?

  • I LOVE THIS MACHINE!! Our shop is buying 10 of them the second they go on sale. DO NOT BELIEVE THOSE WHO TELL YOU TO JUST USE A CRICUT EXPRESSION. This a different machine with food-safe parts, and it cuts perfectly every time. Way better than Expression.

  • That is a great idea to have an overlay mat covering up the entire area where the display and all of buttons are located! Great idea for protecting that area.

  • I hear it will retail for about $399 and be avail in April.

  • what will the cost be and when will it be available?
