Emory is definitely a clown's clown. The character has buffoon written all over his face. Had it not been for the fascists, every society's cultural DNA would have been stripped leaving nothing but a globalized machine. In the end, we wound up with a globalized machine anyways. It doesn't really matter who's operating the heavy equipment as long as Emory keeps injecting religion as a hot button topic, the wizard behind the machine holds all the cards.
