Note the occasional left hand melody... not a bass line. This is an advanced call-response technique that is often not fully recognized by the listener.
The House of the Rising Sun isn't even played on a Hammond organ, bubble-head(it might only sound like it to a dilettante's ear). It's beyond unacceptable that you criticize Hammond players while you barely know anything about this subject. The Hammond organ is one of the most versatile instruments on the world, you can find it in many and greatly different styles: hard rock, progrock, jazz, blues, gospel and all kinds of fusions.
excellent! Great chops, maestro! I always wondered why Hammond didn't put the Leslie speed control down near the pedals, or as part of the volume pedal, so you don't have to reach for it, temporarily "losing" the left hand..
I see thgis dude quite a bit in Seattle. He's really powerful on that thing. That's what she said.

Yes and no :-)
I've been looking for different stuff on YT for Hammond. All I can find is a kind of bluesy/jazzy/gospel playing I've simply had enough.
More than that, most of them use similar drawbar sets.
I think there are many interesting sets like
880000000
or
008080800
But all you can find on YT is people using sets that produce kind of juicy swinging gurgling sound ;-)
Although I must admit that they are SUPERB organ players and I CAN'T play like that and I WISH I could play like that.

WHAT!? Hammond keys aren't made of ivory, piano keys are (sadly, think of the poor elephants)! Hammond keys are made of plastic, I think.
