@KirksXD Yeah I was originally going to go straight to a 580 but now I'm going to wait for the 600 series to come out and see how it stacks up. Its a great time for building computers thats for sure.

Great video. If Swifty doesn't want to wait till march for the ivy bridge to come out, its not a big deal to just get a 2600k now, the difference between the cpus isn't all that great and he sure as hell won't be overclocking an insane amount, if at all. For the cpu cooler he could just get an H100 or a Noctua DH 14. The motherboard just a good Asrock z68 gen 3. Video card might as well get the 7970, better than a gtx 580 for the same price. Drivers are honestly hit or miss with both companies.

I actually got everything that you said, but older versions lol. I got the intel i7 950k unlocked, gforce 460 and all that good stuff :P haven't tried OCing yet, but can't wait til I do :D
