I worked on the oil spill cleanup work in Grand Isle Louisiana. I can say its not about cleaning it up, it is about devistating the environment. The greatest harm was done by the dispersant that was used and it made the oil stay in the water. People have excelent ideas that work, but one thing is even if you place the cob in the water, how do you go about picking them back up? Second there is so much oil in areas that the impact of people climbing on the marsh does damage.
