I love sonia, she's a beautiful dancer. But that massive split in the skirt... that's what makes bellydance too sexualised. I could never feel comfortable dancing in something that shows my ass when I spin around. It just looks a bit skanky. but that's just my opinion.

yea cuz i rember seeing videos of this when it first came out and i clearly rember some parts of the bellydancing going real well the music playing..and after i watch the ones put up more recently her dancing doesnt seem to fit well with music at all and in as much as it did when i first saw like i guess the orignal video before they edited im guessing :/

I don't think they edited it. I think the song somehow got ahead of itself.

When you push play, the video doesn't start in the very beginning. I have it on DVD and there is a few seconds missing of the video footage. It's still a good video. She is a great dancer

When I first saw Sonia performing I was absolutely petrified... and I remain a BIG FAN of her style by now. She doesn`t perform a PURE belly dancing may be..but who the hell cares!! She created her own UNDERSTANDING of bellydance, feels like she brought some jazzy elements to it from her past experience and I absolutely appreciate and adore it. She is really deep in what she does, she has a great feeling of the rythm. Her choice of music and clothing is always perfect.
