  • OUR CHIEF WEAPONS BEING SURPRISE AND FEAR!!!!

  • Praise the Emperor and strike down His foes.

  • lol wtf was up with the picture at 4:16 xD

  • YOU NEVER EXPECT THE IMPERIAL INQUISITION!!!

  • If anyone is playing Dark Heresy RPG, come check out my campaign Heresy playlist for all sorts of goodness.

  • Dude grey knights r overrated TECH PRIESTS R DA BEZT

  • Actually the Grek Knights arent part of the Inquisition and make that very clear in all novels.

  • @Zeara930 BULL they still put grey knights under the banner of the inquisition anyway

  • i would love to see a second death. maybe mine more.

  • Darth Vader is more powerful - lol

  • Id like to know where the geneseed for the grey knights originated. Im assuming of this point that they may be a successor chapter from th ultramarines due to the sheer size of the Ultramarine legion.

  • @Mortarion89

their geneseed is "rumoured" to have come from the Emperor.

even if it's not, it has to be something that guarantees psychic power and resistance to daemonic influence.

the Emperor is the only being I know of with those traits ...

  • @StarSpawn06 thank you , i appreciate your insight. I just finished the novel "blood reaver" and the 8th legion and the red corsairs decide to steal gene seed from the marines errant. my question is lets say that a chaos legion/chapter steals the geneseed from a chapter such as the blood angels or the space wolves...when they chaos chapter adds the geneseed to their initiate do the mutations from the original chapter still exist (ex wulfen/red thirst)

  • @Mortarion89

hmm, it's said that those mutations were themselves the result of Chaos influence :o

so I think, if the Chaos chapter uses the stolen geneseed, not only will the latters' mutations persist, they'll get exarcerbated and twisted.

Chaos werewolves and bloodsuckers. Now those would be good additions to a Khornate army :D

  • @StarSpawn06 get the 13th chapter space wolves folling abadon

  • All the custodians do is stand around in a thrown room all day. They would be shit at fighting due to lack of experience and/or practice LOL

  • @jonahtakalua1 you obviously have not read the novels and the trials that the custodians go through annually to maintain there status.

  • @derWolfemann No I havn't. I've only read the novels set in the current times in the universe. Which books would you recommend if I'm interested in the Horus Heresy etc.. ?

  • @jonahtakalua1 Most of the horus heresy series, I would recommend with the exception of a few books. Start from the beginning. Skipping around would ruin alot of great moments of clarity where it all starts to come together.

  • @jonahtakalua1 definitely tales of heresy, legion, prospero burns, age of darkness...all of them except the 2nd dark angels book

  • ? 300 ? How many Psykers does the Emperor suck the life out of DAILY. Tour Guild Custodians "If you step into this little booth just smile & you can take personal Picture with the Emperor." JOLT.... DEAD.... "Next, yeah the Gray Knight's interview start with Picture in that booth." "Enjoy, ba bye, see you later, Ba bye,"

  • Memo: DON'T FUCK WITH THE EMPEROR'S GREY KNIGHTS!!!!!!

  • It’s often remarked that diplomacy is just warfare by other means. Our battles are no less desperate for being bloodless, but at least we get wine and finger food.

  • Do not ask why kill the alien?, rather ask why not?

  • "Innocence proves nothing."

    - Motto of the Inquisition

  • There is no such thing as innocence. A plea of innocent is guilty of wasting my time. Guilty.

  • For the greater good!. Long live the Tau Empire <3

  • NO-ONE EXPECTS THE HOLY ORDERS OF THE EMPERORS INQUSITION! AMONG OUR WEAPONS-LASGUNS, HIDEOUS PSYCHOLOGICAL TORTURE, FANATIC DEVOTION TO OUR LORD AND...NICE POWER ARMOUR!

Joking aside, I am a huge Malleus fan, and sometimes play my regiment (103rd Cadian Foot and Mouth) alongside the Daemonhunters.

  • @KarlMarxWasRight

You're thinking of the Ordo Hereticus. The Ordo Malleus are the witch-hunters.

Xenos, Malleus and Hereticus: Alien, witch and daemon.

  • @trurealest

the ordo malleus are the deamon hunters.

  • @thedarknesscallingme

Yeah, sorry, my mistake. I was getting confused because the Malleus Malerficarnum is the Witch-Hunters Bible. Malleus means Witch in Latin.

  • @trurealest

Sorry, Veneficus is Latin for witch. My Latin is sloppier than it once was, but the Malleus Malerficarnum is known as the Witch Hunters Bible and is more or less translated as meaning, ' The Hammer Of Witches. ' Written by the 'real life' inquisitor, Henricus Institorius some couple of hundred years ago. Scary reading.

  • @trurealest actually I believe Malleus means hammer... If you corrected this elsewhere, I apologize.

  • @ShrougerNite

Yeah I did already correct myself after realising that translated, the Malleus Malerficarnum means ' The Hammer of Witches' . Cheers anyway.

  • @trurealest likewise.

  • Comment removed

  • @Kousaburo But of course they do. The Inquisition suspedts the Imperial Inquisition! The suspect EVERYBODY....

    Seriously though, should be "expects".

  • sirAthrus they are not 300 they are ten thousand of the most experimented and powerfull space marines(emperor bodyuards)

  • Epickie, ale pewnie nie ja pierwszy to mówię.

  • "Even if you have nothing to fear, you still have something to hide."

  • Ordo Malleus FTW

  • I know the grey knights are powerful space marines but what about the CUSTODIANS?

The emperors personal 300 man legion of space marines?

I think they would be the most powerful seeing as they protect the God that all the men a women under him die for each day!

  • @sirAthrus There are more then 300 I believe, but there always are 300 in the Emperor's throneroom, guarding him. They're not exactly Space Marines either (they're similiar, but slightly larger and stronger, using a bit different equipement and based on their own, different geneseed)

  • @Makkovar: Custodians are to Astartes what astartes are to normal humans in strength and skill.

  • @Makkovar there are around 3,000 grey knights and the Custodes are in the emperors throne room.

  • @Makkovar Yes, their geneseed is from the Emperor himself.

  • @Makkovar 300 people guarding somone with vast psychic powers?

  • @cursedboy1 Also someone unable to percieve jis direct surroundings or to... move.

And these 300 people are about the equivalent of a 10,000,000 orks.

  • @Makkovar Have you seen the emporer's pyschic ability, The same ability keeping the gods at bay

  • @cursedboy1 Yees it does, so? Also, where the hell does the form "Emporer" come from?

  • @Makkovar I've been reeding stories and it sounds like he was made by gods to be the chosen god of mankind :P

  • @Makkovar from my study the god emperor is the creature of many psychics or pyskers what ever they were called due to the fact that chaos was consuming there souls. correct me if im wrong

  • @greyknightsindre I don't think that's canon anymore. It used to say that the "spiritual leaders" long ago became one to fight back against the chaos gods who were consuming their souls in the afterlife.

  • @Makkovar they can kill more....... much more.....

  • @Makkovar They are the only space marines that Wear Imperatus armor.

  • @sirAthrus THE MOST POWERFUL GREY KNIGHT IS BROTHER CAPTAIN STERN

  • @sirAthrus Custodes don't typically do much but guard the Palace. As in maybe once a millenia they go as far as the moon, and even then its 1 of them.

As for the 300, there are 300 lined up in formation at all times in the throne room. Since these mini Primarchs are meant to be a distraction while a corpse focuses its power, we can only imagine the sheer power before the Emperor was entombed.

  • @Anathema1984 They guard the God Emperor......I'd consider that to be at least a little bit important.

They were designed to be the ultimate space amrines because they were tasked with the ultimate mission, to defend their living God and father.

Not putting down the power of the Astartes or the Grey knights but the Custodians are to Space marines what the Space marines are to the Imperial guard.

  • @sirAthrus They are stronger, there Geneseed has more of the emperor's DNA then a regular Space marine, Also They are bigger then regular Marines. It was mention that they are not ( produced) like space marine cause to make one is costly.

  • 1 dislike? This is blasphemy!

  • Inqiusition SUX!

    CHAOS INQUISITION ROX!!

  • WHAT IS THE SONG???

  • FOR THE EMPEROR, great tribute.

  • Lots of Astartes in this vid. Too much Grey Knights.

A lot of "humans" works for the ordo, pacing up and down the darkest places of the Imperium, giving they life and fighting daemons and heretics. Think of them !

Astartes are here for big problems, they do half of the job and they collect all the glory T_T

(and excuse my french :P )

  • idk, probably a primarch.

  • He was chapter master of the grey knights...

  • who's the big guy at 2:11 ?

  • Excatly, in their 'own way' this means an Inquistor can quite easily be turned to Choas if he gets to interested in their artifacts. It's not happend and is unlikly but it's a possability.

  • Inqusition are nothing without the Grey Knights... Their the only ones really respected as I think the Inquistion are more likly to fall to Choas in the end than any other chaptures with their obsession with their artifacts.

Deamon Hunters on the other hand... Unlikly considering that not a single DH has ever fallen.

  • yep inquisition is not very popular , space wolfs hate them

  • @sewagedweller For good reason, the Inquisition genocided several billion people just to keep a secret (that the demons invaded a hive world).

  • @sewagedweller

Mind if i tell you that Ciaphas Cain once called the Inquisitors "The Emperor's Pet Psychopaths".

  • @clickingpinging i remember reading that inquisition keeps fucking emperor up by not letting him die to be reborn .

  • @sewagedweller Well,i dont blame them for that, should the emperor die and all intersellar travel even between planets would be hard at best and imposible at worst.

I mostly blame the inquisition for the atrocities they cause, they blow up whole planets and they just say:"Hey,i did that for the survival of humanity" , not to mention the radical inquisitors, who either become followers of chaos or get killed by other inquisitors.

  • @sewagedweller i think imperium should just shut up and join Tzench . They going to have giant chickens for angels , how awesome is that ?

  • is the inquisition also sisters of battle? i always thought of them as the entire imperium as a whole... I am kind new at all this

  • They are part of the inquistion. Their the Ords Hereticus, or witch hunters.

  • No. The Grey Knights are part of the Ordo Malleus, ala Deamon Hunters. Aside from the GK themselfs, plenty of DH's can fall, more so is true to Ordo Hereticus.

The least likely is Ordo Xenos.

  • @VincenttoChaos Eisenhorn was Xenos and im sure ravenor was also. both of them dealt with enemies of the imperium. Eisenhorn with deamonhosts and Ravenor with Eldar. technically heretical to the rest of the imperium, even if the knowledge is used to help mankind. just saying. but if you can, please tell me what ordo Quixos belonged to. i cant remember to save my life lol.

  • love your tributes but this one should have been named daemon hunters tribute. Almost all of it was Ordo Malleus.

  • love it, you always have the best music on your tribute vids. Can't wait till Abnett writes the Bequin trilogy

  • your tributes are the best

  • From what i know yes but they dont have any neat implants like the space marines so they are more like female imperial guard who actually get equiped properly.

  • @Zefurion1988

And trained very well with a fanatical devotion to the Emperor.

  • @Dutchgg No granted they still wear power armor they are not genetically enhanced supper soldiers. Sisters of battle as the militant arm of the Ecclesiarchy and of Ordo Hereticus.

  • than you never fight against me

  • i dont hit girls sry

  • praise the gods for that ;-)...

  • @popigru GODS? WHAT BLASPHEMY IS THIS, DIVINITY CAN ONLY BE FOUND WITH THE EMPEROR. *BAMM*

  • @Washu73 A DEAD ONE? AHHHHHHHH! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!

  • be realistic.. there are no women in this chapter... at least not under the grey knights

  • There are no female space marines at all, according to GW.

  • There is not any women in any space marines chapters. Only Ministorum have weman under arms. And guard of the Imperium. They have anything and anyone.

  • @Rammius92 and the sisters of battle ;)

  • The music from 0:01 - 1:10 is the best, wunderful work ^^

the inquisition is the best against the darkness

    Eisenhorn rules !

    Xenos Hereticus Marleus Ordos

  • It is suggested by some that the Emperor had been around for as long as there were people.

  • Comment removed

  • Man i love your tributes musics great and the art work is great.

  • fav + 5 stars...may the EMPEROR guide my blade

  • Music...so epic...oh it fits so perfectly it makes me cry T.T

  • Cast out the mutant, the traitor, the heretic. For every enemy without, there are a hundret within!

  • 1:50 = Win

  • burn the heretic

  • Forget not who we serve !

  • Argh... Best video ever

    Senatus et Populoque Romano SPQR

  • 5-stars!...wow! I think the 40k religions are taking over the world via youtube! /if#7

  • @rocketshipstud2 it is, look at all the views and comments for 40k videos compared to other types of vids.

  • @rocketshipstud2 oooh if only they would... Id love to do some good in the name of the emperor =D

  • The combination of the picture at 1:50 and the music is extremely awesome.

  • oh yes...love it

  • I am thankfull for people like you Makkovar...you bring our beloved game to life. Every your piece is masterfully done, perfectly covering fluff of W40 and you have uncomparable sense of music for this kind of stuff...thank you for every piece you made or will make...

  • whose head was that in the Grey Night's hand in the very last picture? 4:16 Is that anyone or anything specific?

  • Dude, its a little child, standing behind the massive leg armour of the knght. look closely...

  • my apologies for my bad eyesight. (red face emoticon)

... (gasp)... ah, now I see. He's really big O_o

  • Hehe, yes, that was my reaction too =)

  • heheh last picture was adorable, that giant killed an pixy elf

  • 5* music is intense from1:40-2:00 I love the build up to it.

  • Why is it that if Inquisitors are trusted with full knowledge of chaos why do some of them succum to chaos, Gray Knights never do

  • It might be because Grey Knights are trained i every total way, like a Space Marine, but better. Inquisitors, obviously are very feeble looking, which means they only have mental training. I think they go to Chaos because they have somuch damn power, and are under almost no watch. Grey Knights are under the control of the entire Imperium. :)

  • Plus the Grey Knights are the only SM chapter to not have a single ever traitor marines from it

  • Inquisitors never succum to chaos, but some will use chaos powers against chaos

  • Of course Inquisitors succumb to Chaos, that's why there's a branch of the Inquisition that carefully watches the Inquisition for signs of corruption.

  • Yeh, radical inquisitors who use daemonhosts and warp energy against chaos.

  • Yes they do. Inquisitor Valinov succumed to Chaos.

  • Quixos did too, he became a Chaos fanatic!

  • Correct, but Inquisitor Valinov succumed. Eisenhorn used Chaos aginst Chaos through Cherubael.

  • I just started reading the Grey Knights Omnibus and in the first two chapters the Grey Knights fight and capture a trator Grey Knight.

  • Bs. last i heard grey knights never have traitors. couldnt have been a grey knight

  • My bad, in my haste of enjoying a good book I miss read the text, the traitor was Inquisitor Valinov. Nothing I've reread says hes a GK, still can't blame me for getting carried away by a Warhmmer 40K Novel....can you?

  • Not at all ^.^

  • You could make an argument that the Grey Knights, having a larger combat role than an investigative and administrative role inside the Inquisition, wouldn't have as prolonged contact with heretical texts like an Inquisitor might.

    Just a thought. lol

  • No they don't, I've read the Grey Knights Omnibus.

  • See, now this one would have been a great AdMech tribute song - the steady hammering with the chanting... beautiful

  • if a chaos lord came against an inquistor they would be scared, inquistors have lived for an age or two and can channel the full might of the emperor through their blesses weaponry

  • Depends on the Chaos Lord and the Inquisitor in question. Some of those Chaos Lord are terrifying individuals, whose very presence causes agony even in a space marine. And rest assured, they've lived far longer than any Inquisitor.

  • Depends if you are talking about a renegade chapter or a legion there...

  • id love to see that a dual between two exedingly powerfull of those

  • Yeah well White Scars of Space Marines are asian. Read up on the history please.

  • hmmm interesting even in wh40k fire warrior your melle weapon si a katana thingy

  • i was talking about humans, and was half asleep at the time :)

  • Grey knights:

Because space marines are not awesome enough

  • in models, the grey knight are the most beautiful from W40K

  • The GK termies have the coolest looking armor, because it is the most high tech looking of all :)

  • The inquisition is a lie

  • No,They preserve the Imperium from Daemon ambushes in the Hives

  • Inquisition is just like C.I.A....... darn assholes lol

  • No the Inquisition is much worse,They'd kill you just for calling em assholes

  • Those inquisitors have the power lol, they can organise entire space marine chapters and titan legions in their cause.

They also have the weapon of utter and harrowing destruction, exterminatus...

  • they cannot command the space marines, they can try to persuade them to join them, but they cannot actually take command.

  • no but they can call you heretics

  • the big problem is i like marines

    i admire there courage

    and devotion to the emporer

but i stand with the only people i could be

    the imperial guard

    hail the steel legion

    HAIL THE EMPORER!!!

  • clash of titans fits so well in this setting it isn't even funny. Nice music choice.

  • Inquistor-Lord Abriel Vilian is one of the Ordo Xeno`s most distinguished agents, having masterminded the purge of the xenophiliac cult known as the Spawn-Sons of Gha-Lo`q on Elesium Tertia. However, he hides a terrible secret from his colleagues.

At the age of 19 he lost his virginity to a Slaaneshi daemonette, an encounter he was supremely fortunate in escaping with his life and sanity intact.

  • uh............

  • Wtf! LOL must be one tough lady

  • Ouch...

  • Very nice. when's the next comming out?

  • Space Wolves FTW!

  • Those are Grey Knights.

  • I know

  • The Black Templar are probably the most powerful Space Marine chapter, but the best of Humanity are the Inquisitors.

  • I thought the Ultramarines were the best that the emperium had to offer. O_o
