  • Hmmm...this is all very inspiring, I want a garden railway and a few of these whistles, thanks.

  • Excellent sound, nice job too,, I'm about to fit one to a Merlin Mayflower,

interested tto know, how did you adjust your sound, !!!, thanks

  • @DELTA1DSV

    thanks!

the sound can be slightly adjusted by moving the histle in or out of the resonating chamber

  • Where did you get the light from on the front of the engine?

  • Roundhouse engineering

  • WOW, that is a mega whistle!

  • Nice sound to it mate.

Did you take the steam line out of the boiler overflow or did you drill and make a new bush?

  • thanks.

its from djb engineering, and it comes with an extended banjo bolt to fit the valve that comes with it and the pressure gauge.

its then fed from the pipe to whistle by a flexy pipe, which just fits over a nozzel on the whistle and valve.

if you go to the djb engineering website, and look at whistles, then go down to the edrig whistle, it has some pics of it.

    hope this helps

  • So it takes the steam from the pressure guage bush. Its a good idea.
