  • I bought a kindle. I gave money to the enemy. My small deposit of cash in their extremely large bank account has ensured that at least three more of their hateful little gizmos will be assembled in some ramshackle little factory in China by a malnourished 12 year old Mongolian peon. Not a day goes by where I don't feel a pang of guilt for my stupidity. But I will fight the good fight from now on. I will do everything in my power to make sure that print books don't die. FUCK THE KINDLE.

  • Fuck the Kindle! Good for you mate.

  • If bookstores keep going out of business I'm going to paint my face like the joker and start to systematically destroy 95% of the kindles in the world, stamp on them, burn them in huge in piles, and then turn my attention to other matters

  • Thank God you agree. Kindles suck ass and you cant replace books with this piece of metal. I agree with everything this guy says, books are important! If books disapear I will seriously be pissed off. Screw Kindles and all sorts of E-readers!!

  • This man is wonderful.

  • I couldn't agree more and it seems most readers too - after all this time of constantly trying to push this Kindle crap down our throats I've still not seen one. As someone said there's nothing worse than technology for technologies sake. Basically only loved by people who's sad lives revolve around having the latest gadget before their friends...

  • I underlined the FUCK outa that book.

  • "I underlined the FUCK outa that book!" I laughed so hard I almost cried.

  • Im gonna send him a kindle.

  • @amoralphat40oz2 *Gives thumbs up*

  • what the fuck is a kindle

  • So you hate on the Kindle because it doesn't allow you to be a hipster about reading? As if you can't type notes on a laptop and give them page numbers for reference. That's tooltastic.

  • I love books, infact I took 53 books in my library to college with me, but a Kinlde2 is still in the mail, so why? Well, once I get past the initial investment I wont have to spend $25-$45 on a new release, only about $10 for Kindle. So its money saved for me. As to everything else in your video, I'm in agreement with ,even facebook, it took a while for me to purchase one. you could read a tech summary for the margin issue, I like the idea of being able to carry all 53+ books around with me.

  • I'd buy a Kindle if I could! They won't sell the damn things in Canada.

  • I too like books :)

Paper is sensual, its part of the experience of reading a book.

  • I'm with you ZedAlfa273 - books are a fetish for me. I love the texture, the impression of text on the page, the cover art. That's why I spent so much of my university days in the HQ100s...

  • Kindle - I guess I see the point, but why? I am not big on technology for the sake of technology. Kindle is the size of a book, AND it takes power. It does not do things that a very low-tech book does just as well. May as well come up with computerized ass-wiping while they are at it.

  • I'm with you Marc!

  • I love books also...
