I completely forgot about this glitch... as to everyone who's saying the max level in GW 2 won't be unlimited, it's actually a possibility. It was mentioned that if they did go that direct, at some point the levels would stop making you stronger, and basically be for bragging rights from there on out.

Anyway, thanks for posting this... brings back memories of the time before they nerfed all my best farming spots...

Guys, it's very simple. Say everyone's power maxes out at 40. Then after that, every level you've gained shows how long you've worked on your character! It might give you something like skill points, but it won't really make you much stronger to be a level 100 against a level 40. The level 40 still has a chance of beating you. It's not really that complicated.

Okay look at it this way. Just like in the first Guild Wars you'll get stronger every time you level. This will happen until, for example, level 50. You can continue to gain levels after 50, but they won't add to your characters' strength.

Does that make sense? Sorry, I know I can be confusing sometimes.

Yes, you get a boost if you choose not to bring your hero. But why does that make everyone the same level? The boost is designed to compensate for the strength you lose by not bringing the hero. This means that a level 100 (or whatever the max power level will be) will receive a boost compensating for the absence of a level 100 hero. A much stronger boost.

It seems to me that you haven't thought any of your ideas out very well. Please take time to consider all possibilities before posting.

Umm the max lvl probably isn't going to be unlimited, that's just stupid but they are going to add a balancing system for pvp so all levels are equal and noobs won't get owned by like a lvl 5000.

This is not an exploit, it's a visual effect. Once you exit a town area where you can edit your action bar the extra skill will disappear.

if you put a skill on your bar and quickly drop it to another box you will have the same skill in two boxes, soon as you leave town the other one disappears, I've noticed this a while back.

not much practical use though, since you can fill your bar with the same skill through skill template

Actually Swift Blade, that was after a patch. In my experience, it actually does work...

But the duped skill, if it was duped over an empty slot, cant be used.

If it was duped over Heal Area, it functions like heal area.
