He was the one to convince them to put him in a pit instead of killing him, and fully intended to get him out soon. And he wasn't in on selling Joseph either.

And Reuben actually hid Joseph (in the pit) from the other brothers and he would come back for him because the other brothers were going to do something to him. (Reuben actually loved Joseph) But when Reuben returned, he found out that Joseph wasn' t in the pit anymore. He was sold to the caravan.
Nice movie, but uploading them onto YouTube will always stir up religious debates. I myself am agnostic and don't follow any religion nor do I believe in any specific deity. But for anyone who does... or doesn't for that matter... shut up and just watch the movie.
Dragon2Fire, if you read Genesis chapter 37 through chapter 50, you will discover the entire story of Joseph. According to Scripture, there was one other brother after Joseph, and his name was Benjamin. If you take time to read these chapters, you will discover an intriguing account of how a young man, called by God, was led thru many challenges.. Joseph ws young and a bit prideful. The Lord allowed Joseph to endure much preparing him for leadership.

@ImLothLuin I'm not gonna get into a debate because we've lived two separate lives but since I'm an eldest child I know how its like to put up with a younger sister. A lot of the time the youngest siblings act like they know as much as you do and try to compare themselves with you(I'm not saying you do that) but realize both younger and older siblings have their faults. Which is why sibling rivalry exists! The rivalry comes from both sides :D
they are very jealous of Joseph Rachel and Jacob treat him like a king or some thing so his brothers are tired of Jacob and Rachel treating them like nothing when Joseph was born they took out there arms to hold Joesph but Jacob close the curtain and continued to look at Joesph
I felt bad for Joseph, his father favoriting him over his brothers, his brothers loathing him because of it, and all he wanted was to be a normal guy and be with his brothers.

Nice movie, but uploading them onto YouTube will always stir up religious debates. I myself am agnostic and don't follow any religion nor do I believe in any specific deity. But for anyone who does... or doesn't for that matter... shut up and just watch the movie.

Dragon2Fire, if you read Genesis chapter 37 through chapter 50, you will discover the entire story of Joseph. According to Scripture, there was one other brother after Joseph, and his name was Benjamin. If you take time to read these chapters, you will discover an intriguing account of how a young man, called by God, was led thru many challenges.. Joseph ws young and a bit prideful. The Lord allowed Joseph to endure much preparing him for leadership.

@alexandruthegreat95 true, but it was obvious that the brothers were mad at him and i think it would have been smarter if he had changed the dream when he told it to them just so it wouldnt have sounded like he's way more superior then them... BUT God had a plan and it worked out in the end so it dosent really matter ^^

I know exactly how Joseph felt!
I am the youngest and my oldest sister is always saying things like:
"I beg you, start to act like a normal person" or "Even a man possessed acts less insane than you"
I am working whole my life (I'm 15) to prove her that I am a good loving sister. I always wished to tell her: "Look, THAT IS NOT MY FAULT THAT I'M THE YOUNGEST, OK? So please stop critic me! I AM NOT that bad!"
I feel sympathy to every youngest kid, because I know how it's like... It's realy horible

@ImLothLuin yeah it can be bad im also a younger sister my older sister and I are 8 years apart. She called me spoiled alot as a kid and it hurt alot but now that im 19 and we get along better i relized how my parents treated us diffrent. or maybe its not even that we are treated diffrent its that little children are coddled over and same with our older simblings they were coddled too but because they see the younger child being coddled it changes their view on us

@ImLothLuin I'm not gonna get into a debate because we've lived two separate lives but since I'm an eldest child I know how its like to put up with a younger sister. A lot of the time the youngest siblings act like they know as much as you do and try to compare themselves with you(I'm not saying you do that) but realize both younger and older siblings have their faults. Which is why sibling rivalry exists! The rivalry comes from both sides :D
