  • @Kadamir I would assume he's tired and hoping to score some more points after the fight is stood up. Since you don't win the fight for an Ippon on the ground (2 points) unless the other fighter already has has ippons in the other two parts, this is part of strategy.

    Yes there are cons to a system where you dont directly lose to an ippon but it also has it's pros. :)
