  • This is dope but it's not strength. The key to a good flag is to get keep the hips centered above or just a little bit off of the balancing arm to keep balance while the legs go as far to the side as possible. The other hand helps too.

    Bboys are able to have immense balance ? you fool I am a bboy and I can do 1 armed stands. Its something you aquire and will get the more you practice. having good press strength will only help you a little bit, ask any acrobat the prime thing about this skill is BALANCE to keep yourself in that state of equillibrium.

  • if you're still having trouble holding them (this is and old clip so ignore this advice if you've got them down now!) it's because he have a habit of letting your torso twist inwards, to hold a flag freeze you have to maintain the balance between your legs and your torso and when you turn in without adjusting it that's when you're coming down. watch it again and you'll see.

    hoping you've got them now though, they look hella dope!

  • Doing it from handstand is still good too cos it should help with conditioning and controlling your body.

    I started off learning 90s and 2000s from handstand before, which helped me understand the twist and whipping motion needed for it.

    i start in crouch pos then hop back onto my arm. its easer to get your body parallel to the ground
