omg the pagoda was a very amazing place. I visited with a friend and we found it to be just... thrilling . the view from it was amazing! But sadly we got there after they filmed the needed scenes from there. The people who worked there even showed us a signed pic of Zuko! Can't wait to see the movie so i can say "I'VE BEN THERE"! in the movie theater=P

Only that's possible is for that Pagoda to be where Aang has to go to see Roku for the first time on the Winter Solstice. i don't get why people say avatar is so racist with the casting, i mean, it's directed by m.n shylaman.

The cinematography looks interesting, not too overly digitalised with the airbending; quite subtle. looking forward to seeing water and earth. we all are bored with fire anyway. but you may find an excellent asian part for all the characters but you need to consider, can these people act? and a bond needs to be there for hollywood and actors to coexist. am i wrong?

For me, it's not the fact that whites were cast in an asian-based world. It's that the casting calls looked something like this:

Aang: "Caucasian or any other ethnicity"

Katara: "Caucasian or any other ethnicity"

Sokka: "Caucasian or any other ethnicity"

Whatever happened to "Any ethnicity"? Now you tell me that singling out a race like that isn't racism. I've nothing against the actors, but I've something against THIS. So YES, the people making, or at least charge of, this movie are racist.
