@DaSkinnyApe Yes, but it wouldn't be a certificate today. They would be energy distribution cards. If you choose not to do anything then it would be treated as a medical issue. Depression, etc. You do what interest yourself. For example, people who like to do extreme sports can do that and at the same time educate others to do that as well. That would be a "job" too. If your interest lay in gaming then you join the various groups and possibly help create something, or not. Your choice.

As a social movement this NOT going to happen. Too close to the end of the Price System Global culture and then its demise and people are way too under the spell to come out of it. That is a pity but true unless some other big cultural things happens which I doubt.
We change though in dramatic form soon. So fun for people in the know. Good poetry in the Technate design. Ha.
@alexandernjstevenson They just recently updated their site. It looks better than it did before, but it still think they need to work on a few things. The "new" videos, in the Technocracy 101 section, look like it came from the early 90's. It would really help to get with the new age of presenting these kinds of ideas. Like those informational documentaries with all the simple but sleek graphics to help with the understanding. I really wouldn't know where to go to get that kind of help.
Energy accounting is the logical alternative to the Price System method. People need to know that with the current loss of their purchasing power (mechanization and energy conversion replacing human labor) there is a viable approach to get them off the wheel of pointless resource destruction for money. The dark haired person in this video is the late John Taube, Johnny was a dedicated technocrat that spent many years making this information known as a writer and lecturer.
