Very nice stang, it sounds so good. I was looking at the Pypes muffler delete kit, is that pretty much the same thing that yours is right now? Also, did you notice any power gains at all with the removal of the mufflers? Thanks

Thanks Mike. To answer your question about What kind of pipes... I simply rempved the mufflers from the rear of the car. They unbolt from the exhaust pipe and then you have to unbolt a few hangers. The mufflers simply come right out. I drove around with the pipes dangeling for about a month with no problems once I removed the mufflers. Then, I had a shop just weld on some 4" chrome tips. Easy as that. It's friggin simple!

so everything else is stock .. i was going to bend a new set of steal for the car but your way sounds way easier just take the mufflers off and pretty much weld on some steal and tips or did you rip it all out ?

Yes, it's stock, except for my lowering springs. Before you spend money on anything... just lay down under the mufflers and scope it out. You will see that the mufflers are NOT welded on and you can easiely un-bolt them. Unbolt the mufflers and also unbolt the hangers (2 hangers on each muffler to remove). Take it for a test drive. Then if you decide to get some tips welded, go for it and it will also make the tone a but "higher" in pitch. You'll love it!

nice, if you do end up caring about the backpressure with no mufflers, just put an x-pipe.  it'll keep the same rumble.
