I'm looking to buy a 125cc and I absolutely LOVE 2 strokes although 4 strokes arent at all bad either (my buddy has one he hasn't rode in 2 years we finally got it stared it gets about 60 mph.) yeah just wondering what the cheapest 2 stroke 125cc is if you can help me out. CR125 is a teriffic bike though.

that's what i'm saving up to buy now i got $1,300 and i figure that's half what i'll need to buy a crf 450r. how much diffence in the power is it to the cr's is it explosive like the 250 2 strokes or more mild and controlable?

mine does what ever I ask it to do. if you give it Full throttle it 'explodes', but unlike a 250 2 stroke it will explode from any engine speed. but you can ride it so its more controllable by using less throttle. I love the power of it. only takes a little while to get used to it but you need better throttle control than on a 2 stroke cause the throttle response is so quick.

id say it depends on your experience, you might be better off on the 85 right now but you will soon grow out of it or just want more power, so I'd say if you have some experience riding dirtbikes then go for the 125
