For the intro when u slide to the 5th.. remove ur middle finger completely from the high e, playing it open... and hammer on the G with your index...Esentially its an asus4 chord not a D.. other than that not bad..

It's okay to do your own version once in a while, but sometimes it's the right thing to do to do a good song justice by playing it correctly. If you change enough chords, change enough of the melody, pretty soon it's not the same song anymore. Chords are important too.

actually, for the intro......you should hammer on the INDEX finger on the G string.....leave the high E string open when your playing..

@MasterGuitarVideos hey on the intro on the D formation held up around the 5th and 6th fret... dont hold down the first string at any point youre up there. the lttle hammer on and pull offs are done on the third string. youll sound closer on the intro if you do this.
