Gotta say I hate the Win8 UI. It's not suited to a desktop or laptop. I just installed the developer preview and the installation screens were plain - yet distracting..?!. I found it hard to read the text. Control panel has an annoying intro powerpoint-title-style screen every time you open it, and had to Google how to get the start menu to work as a start menu! Windows NT 4.0 had a better UI. Hopefully it will fail and they'll abandon it like DreamScene.
