  • please tell what the plan kit was called for this boat, i want to build on in the worst way

  • awesome boat, where can i purchase plans? any updates on it? please get back to me! thanks. J

  • I had a 17ft Chriscraft ski boat w/ the same motor that would go over 45mph. U should be getting at least 55mph. Something's not correct.

  • You wont get too far with that 90hp Mercury. It was built for torque. Its a ski boat engine. Fun never the less but you need a 115 Mercury. I have been working on these for years. You might get 60mph out of the 90 but with a 115 it would be crazy fast.

  • your trim is way wrong, try going up abit more.

  • god created trim for a reason goodbye blue band mercury

  • At least you didn`t loose the motor this time out ,,lol

  • Watching this thing run the way you have it trimmed makes my skin crawl waiting to see you stuff it!! Your asking for it. your almost begging for it. However I'd love to see you stuff it on video LOL!

  • He's right. Hydroplanes are meant to ride on a cushion of air. To reach a good speed you should at least be trimmed even to get air under the hull

  • i could beat you in my 1964 13' boston whaler no problem. its only got a 40hp on it. flys

  • what is the boats top speed? what horsepower is that?

  • still only 40 mph, 90 hp but needs a better prop

  • only 40 mph? That's pretty darn good for a boat so small. Don't forget-the longer the boat the faster it will go. And you have like a tilt saver on there. When you're running full speed the motor should go up.

  • 60mph+ with a 35hp Merc boats 11 feet at the most, check out my hydro vid, talk about efficient

  • dude, u seriously gotta trim that thing, i stuffed my 9 foot hydroplane, and trust me its not fun and it wont be anymore fun crashing a larger one...

  • ya he is going to do a nasty stuffer better too high at those speeds

  • dude,,,trim the boat 4 god sakes!!!!

  • clue worm it has trim and there too people in it

  • how many horses u runnin and what does this boat top off at?

  • I would really recommend some trim. I saw your worried about it getting squirrely but that is soooo much safer than riding with the nose that low. That design is not meant to ride on the water like that. That WILL nosedive when you hit the right wave. Would hate to see someone get hurt.

  • looks good man. trim it up a bit and let it fly

  • im still scared to trim it, gets squirly in the front, starts bouncing from side to side

  • make sure your steering has no play and that the motor mounts are not all soft.

  • @mattspidermanking don't be scared to trim it. Pick it up until it starts bouncing from side to side (or chinewalking) and steer out of it, you'll love the result.

  • Much better with the motor attached!!!

  • Nice hull! You could sure use a jackplate or a 15" motor for that. Looks great!

  • Love the hydro, but I have one question. How do you still have the motor after that incident in the first video?

  • trim up your motor your gonna stuff the nose

  • would love to see it i wish i could find one. it ain't a glen-l , by any means. much nicer. DAMMIT! I WANT ONE!!!!

  • we orginally got the plans online. Its called the X1. Buy my dad and I changed everything from about the driver up.

  • looks like the lake was a little rough and you really didn't trust it 'til that 2 second boot near the end.

  • it was rough and still went fairly smooth
