  • Anyone else love the fact that you couldn't see the bullets until they hit something?

  • who made who

  • I hated those bubble submarine things sooo much...

  • Love it...

  • The Genesis soundtrack is SO much better. The Snes version is verry half assed here. very slow and boring. Percussion doesn't stick out and it all blends together.

  • this is the first platform game i ever played and all i can say is instead of making 5 or 6 more repetative mario games why not make about 3 more earthworm jim games

  • Do you hate the genesis? You almost always upload the SNES port's music

  • Freakin' epic! :D

  • One of the first games I owned was Earthworm Jim. The toung-in-cheek humor, creativity and playthrough was very zainy, yet fluid. However, this game is known for it's difficulty; once you lose, you start all over. Even still, the humor was enough for me to play over and over again. The stand out was the music. The music added icing to the already hilarious humor of the game. Even still, Earthworm Jim has shown me that Mario isn't the only one who can do platforming right, and that's groovy.

  • ho my good

    god job

  • i had forgotten how great these songs were! they're fucking great

  • 2nd song is the theme to ¨what the heck?¨ or a redone version of Night on Bald Mountain

  • Never even knew there was A SNES version... great music, though.

  • this game is classic with game play and music

  • he looks like hes dancing in the bubble its halarious

  • Earthworm Jim 4 will be released around the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2010, so that is something to look forward to.

  • I want to see the rest of the speed run.

Epic game, epic soundtrack, hilarious cartoon. Earthworm Jim Rocked.

  • amazing control of the bubble at 5:35. im rubbish at it.

  • to this day i still never got past that part

  • WHOOOA NELLEH.

  • is the song that starts at 437 the best i must admit its one of my all time favorite beats since i was a kid

  • Agreed. That song has an amazing beat.

  • no one knows what's the name of the second song that start at 1:18

  • Night on Bald Mountain - Modest Mussorgsky

  • I like the second music from ewj thats the one i remenber

  • i used to have both ewj games for the sega genesis, and my mom got rid of everything! the system, the games, everything! well, i got the snes with the 2nd ewj game and i dont have the first yet. thanks for the upload. the music is cool

  • its the same game on the gba as the original

  • brilliant game and soundtrack, tommy tallarico is a genius. i 've got the remixed soundtrack with the cd quality music, it's great. EWJ 2 had some great songs too.

  • Andy asteroids? Play the banjo and whack the fuck outta Psycrow. Off the hook!

  • OH SHIIIi-- man brings back memories XD

  • Thank Tommy Tallarico for this masterpiece of VG music

  • Hey would anyone happen to know the name of the song to the crazy Hell level in Earthworm Jim? I've been looking for the name of it for forever and I just can't seem to find it ever, I'd hear it, and get so frustrated when I could never figure it's name out. So, please if anyone knows, reply.

  • If you mean the beginning of the track then it's a sample from Night on Bald Mountain by Mussorgsky.

  • I personally prefer the Genesis soundtrack to the SNES one.

  • new junk city sounds like it has new instruments added. i know its the snes version of the music.

  • Something I just have to know...Did you remix New Junk City? Because certain parts just got funkier and I rather like it.

  • I wish I had those skills, but sadly that's not the case. I'm guessing that maybe you remember the Genesis version of the soundtrack?

  • Actually, I've only seen runs of EWJ and have only played 2 on Genesis.

It's just that what I've heard on Genesis was REALLY different from the New Junk City theme I hear on this video.

  • yes. much.

  • GROOVY!

  • i luv this song, n the game, n of course the cartoon.

  • Not only did this game kick ass; the cartoon did too!! That was one of the few cartoons I laughed at so hard as a kid.

  • Nice mix man, one of the best game soundtrack.

  • Earthworm jim stands as a defining game, bringing something never before seen to the table. It was 'groovy', insane, unconventional and as hard as any mega man game. I accept that it is a defining game and it should never be overlooked.

  • this looks tool assisted

  • Is this how the Genesis version looks? They just emulated the Genesis version.

  • this is purely genesis footage worldchallenge

  • The tune thats starts at 1.46 would be a it if they did a remix of it and started to play it on clubs :) The whole Earthworm Jim soundtrack is epic

  • too bad they dont make games as colorful or fun as this anymore

  • very true

  • Is this a tool-assisted video? It looks that way or this guy has insane reaction time and memorization skills. I just go with TAS'd.

  • with enough practice this game is actually quite easy to get through. I went through the first level with out taking any damage sort of exactly like he did the other day.

  • Lol i remember this game when i was just a little kid :P

  • Earthworm Jim is one of those games that are just so far out there that its entertaining & fun. The music has its own wacky value, too. Anyone remember the cartoon on WB years ago?

  • COW LAUNCHED!!

  • I had the SNES version that has the cleaner graphics and better music

  • but the genesis version has the extra level jerry4050. its a matter of personal taste which version someone likes.

  • God I loved this game!

  • What a classic game....Wished i had them both...

    1 & 2 :)

  • GROOVY!!!!!!!

  • dude i want 2 know the name of thesecond song

  • lol, i just saw a goof here. Your playing the genesis version! lol, I could tell because in the evil the cat boss, the SNES version has some stuff in the backround, while the genesis is just black.

  • Well, I'm not the one playing, and yes, the video is from the Genesis version. My videos are about the music primarily, the video footage playing is always treated as an afterthought. The audio is indeed from the SNES version, as detailed in the description.

  • I think you should have done the genesis music. It highly more detailed then the SNES version

  • ...Okay.

  • noh the music from the sega cd version, the best version i think.

  • Actually, the game versions go like this

Genesis = Sega CD > PC > SNES

    so at least a mix

  • yes.

  • lol ok dude just cause you said so

  • use the genesis version for the win machine to kick in. If you played the genesis version after the SNES, you will go, what was i playing

  • i like the 2nd Boss

    "Finish Him"

  • God I miss my childhood :)

    Great game.

  • on megadrive this ost sound much more better

  • didnt like this game and still dont like xD but nice video

  • earthworm jim had great music

  • i played this game

  • Awesome song compilation.

I love Earthworm Jim and his soundtrack was always one of my favorites.
