Browns RB Tom Sullivan # 26 , who played for the Eagles from 1972-77 as # 25, picks up the part of the Gritz Blitz @ 0:26, but wasn't needed @ 0:36-38 on TD play, a sign that the Browns pass protection was coming together. @ 0:31, Browns WR #83 Ricky Feacher had the best speed of the WRs and good quickness but lacked size & consistency. He was only needed as a complimentary guy at this time anyway, behind Reggie Rucker, Dave Logan, and Ozzie Newsome.
QB Brian Sipe was a winner, and a bright dedicated,coach-on-the-field type, got maximum mileage out of ordinary ability and was never intimidated by a pass rush. Sometimes,he depended on rhythm and timing with receivers to get it done, and was intelligent, studious and competitive. But mostly, he made a career of sitting back and waiting as long as possible to throw (@0:42)
