well perhaps they had to get people off for weight reason. If the plane exceeds weight, or CG (center gravity ) off limits, pilots have to ask some pasengers to get off. You dont wanna die, do you? Everything that you might not like in aviation industry might be for your own safety. Be safe.
I have no problems with safety issues whatsoever. The problem we all had was the handling of this affair. No one notified us of the reason, no one advised us of how long anything would possibly take, we waited for 5 hours and no one answered any questions. We missed our connecting flights and when we asked the staff they just said its your problem, you deal with it. We ended up in Spain and had to book into hotels with no help and no compensation at 1 am. Terrible experience.
I understand ,some of the staff dont do their job correctly but as far as pilots are concerned, in any airline, they gotto get off some of the passengers if the CG is off limits. You can check history flights how many crashes were caused because of that, most famous one i can think of now is aliah s plane, another B1900 in GA and more. However, next time you get issue you like that, try to address a pilot with a company, I would have tried to help as I have in the past. Sorry we arent all bad:)
