I destroyed maybe 2 joysticks playing videogames. The brand new was called Aniston, and they were cheap, but with a top stick buttons, one trigger and one on the top and 2 buttons in the base.
I just have looked to my wardrobe, and then I found one that I have, with his case, and is small to my hands right now, back then, It was hard to push the buttons in the base.
Those were the days. I had a Suzo joystick and several unnamed ones. Late I had a flightstick that I used for flightsimulators like Spitfire 40, Gunship and Elite. It was a solid and rough joystick with slow movements and not suitable to play Pacman or Colt 36.

Oh man i used to love games like this back in the day ...remember Dead Angle on the Master System ...could never put the pad down once i had picked it up lol nice upload here m8!!!
In Comando Tracer you drive a buggy, but I never played it in his time. I played it firrst time in a emulator...I didnñt played every game in my MSX first generation! jejeje.
I had one cartridge, original, Salamander, from JP, with a translated from japanese manual, and a Telemach one Player Joystick in 1987. In a 14" television, jejeje!. Great, MSX was great.
Back in the day I also used a small monitor monochrome (green!!!) monitor. I killed various joysticks on Konami games like Hyper Sports :D. Those were the days. Perhaps you should visit this website, a great MSX database with lots of information about games: generation-msx(dot)nl. Zanac and Bosconian were my favorite shooters :)
Check Temptations, is made from Toposoft I think, like Ale Hop.
Dinamic made very, very good games, although very difficult some ones, but the first game that I finished was Phantis and Freddy Hardest form Dinamic,
Thanks again for your comment. Yes I know Temptations and indeed it was also made by Toposoft. Freddy Hardest is one of my favorites except for Freddy Hardest in South Manhatten because you don't get a fair change in that game. I like their Army Moves and Commando Tracer as wel. Dinamic made some terrific and indeed very dificult games like Abu Simbel Profanation.
Thanks for your comment. Yes it is indeed a pity that Spanish software houses didn't develop more, although Opera did quite a lot (Goody, Livingstone Supongo and Last Mission). But let's not forget Dynamic Software, they also produced a lot of games. Toposoft didn't produce much games for the MSX but what they produced was good, like Ale Hop and Mad Mix.
Then, you played with a green monitor?

I played this one in my MSX. I think that I never passed to level 3.
It´s a pitty that spanish developers didn´t made more games especially for the MSX, like Opera Soft did it.
