Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! It is so great to see these classic racing videos. It brings back so many memories and shows what Speedvision-now Speed Channel was, and sadly isn't anymore. Oh well, thank you for keeping the dream alive.
I f*cking miss the trans am series. I was at mosport 04 I was a young fella but I'll never forget it. I was so into the cars it's not funny lol. I loved trans am racing. shame it's gone along with the speed channel lol.
Portland International Raceway is one of America's most sensational tracks. Good news is that the Trans-Am series will make a comeback this year starting this March. All the NASCAR influence has lessened today's Speed Channel. Not only is this a good video, but a good reminder of the good old Speedvision days. I really remember those Trans-Am Vipers.
If someone were to ask me what my favorite race that I've ever watched at PIR was, I would have said - without hesitation, the Trans-Am race from 01. I watched this race from the bank on turn 10. I can still picture the battle between Archer and Gentilozzi. Although perhaps a bit more carnage than I care to see, but a really exciting race never the less.

Trans Am is back--but it's nothing like the glory days. It's just a bunch of no-names and it isn't even covered by anyone

I miss the Trans-Am series...they were a blast to watch at Watkins Glen back in the mid 90s.
