  • God

Why must you take all talented people with you?

Let us someone...WE WANT ROCK MUSIC TOO

  • Guys guys, god doesn't exist, neither does the devil, now we're all happy.

  • He never really recovered after selling Peter Green's guitar.

  • rip wats the song at 40 secs?

  • @MultiMusicman97 the song is called All your love, you will find it on the still got the blues album but much faster played than here

  • @ollebulle2006 Or he can look up (which I believe is the original) by John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, with Eric Clapton.

  • @MultiMusicman97 are you kidding me? you got a list called deaths?

  • let you a holes argue about heaven or hell......I'll listen to the music

  • God gave Garry a gift for all of us, to often satan takes that gift away .Let Garry rest in peace, I pray he went to heaven where all true guitar gods go. You keep talking that way and satan's going to steal your gifts from god!!! It's his specialty.

  • R I P Gary You were definitely one of the very best! Thank you for the hard work and fine music!

  • to the crybaby wangobangodango you should fuck yourself, youd get more pussy.

  • Is it just me, or do almost all really GREAT musicians die at a really "young" age? R.I.P Gary Moore, you will always be remembered as the legend you were.

  • @wangobangodango Why would you say such a cruel thing? Just wondering.

  • @wangobangodango Jealous Much??

  • I used to be a huge fan of Gary when I was still a teenager , 16 onwards in 1987 . But when he changed his genre from rock to blues and rock -and-roll in his 1990 Album "STILL GOT THE BLUES" , I became dissapointed and never bought any latest album from him since then . but still , I was mildly shocked when I learnt of his death announcement in the BBC .

  • so what was the cause of death?????

  • @guillotinedeath

    Heart attack.

  • All I can say is thank God for all these great musos. Gary Moore was the greatest. SADLY MISSED.

  • I just now found out via this post, Gary more has died this year, sad and strange to hear this, he will be missed but his music lives on and he's probably not "resting in peace" but rock's on on the other site, maybe with phil lynott .."Out in the fields"

  • Gary was a phenomenal guitarist.....if you love guitar, you gotta love Gary Moore. RIP Gary, you will definitely be missed.

  • Miss you Gary!

  • Sorry Robert Cray doesn't even cut it with some of these guys listed above and B B King in his hey day didn't really cut it with the guitar either. The best ones are mostly dead.

  • @finechtygow Thats has to be the dumbest comment i ever seen! Robert Cray and B B didnt/dont cut it? Thats musical ignorance! See these great LIVE and try and say that.

  • Gary I miss you so much ! He was my hero for long long time . I start to play guitar in 1971 and I saw him playing with Colosseum 2 in 1978 and the last time I saw him in 2006 (and in between many times ) ! He was one of the greatest guitarplayer ever!!

He was in the same leage with Jimi Hendrix,Jef Beck .................... !

  • Mr Garry Moore You are for ever in us Heart!! We want you

never forget, Thanks for your Music!!

  • Grumberf u fuckface i hope u do go to hell

  • @Grumberf why dont you shut up . i hope you doe go to hell fuck dace

  • @Grumberf Ha, well l'm sure most of them will be there too.

  • @Grumberf - Did God take them or did they live reckless, godless lives?

  • Comment removed

  • @Grumberf the oonly ones i like on that list are gary moore and randy rhodes.

  • @Grumberf you forgot Freddie Murcury, another legend...

  • @Grumberf no you wouldnt want to go to hell when you die =) because then you wouldnt see them in heaven!

  • @Grumberf Dont Blaspheme, man. Youre right you can always join them in hell. Thats where rocks concert are held in the afterlife.

  • @Grumberf

They died; So will you, and so will I. It's life; if nobody ever died, there would be no room in the world today for anyone. God may or may not exist, but these people did exist, and their contributions live on; enjoy them for what they are.

  • @Grumberf I can't understand why, or how, such awesome artists seem to be taken from us. They've all had such deep insights, and have touched people to such awesome depths with their music. Why does it seem they aren't allowed to stay with us? Even after they're gone, their music still excites and incites us, so why do THEY have to leave? The world is a sorrier place without them.

  • @Grumberf why, why miss the chance to meet al of them? :P

  • @Grumberf No, Fuck YOU God,s cool Satan is the dick. God's gonna take you some day, n you'll be cast out while they're all there rejoicing w/ God, except maybe Bon. He was like you. It might take 1'000 years to make you guys see God's devine wisdom.

  • @Grumberf you dont know... how hard in hell... you dont know what are you talking about...-_-.. if you expirience holding a hot metal... imagine that expirience... is 100x more hotter in hell for eternety...with worms inside and ouside your body and your flesh are decaying for eternety.. bro confess your sin,, Jesus is the way...HE loves you so please dont tell that words..cos you doesnt have an idea how hard in hell is..

  • @johnericsantiago28 Preach it brother ;) & @Grumberf Did you ever think of it this way: God wanted them to live in long-lasting happiness for the joy they brought us? And that if you love God, who loves you regardless of your religion, you'll see them up there? Eh? Think about it...

  • @slapshot37GNR when you're dead, you're dead. What's a ridiculous bronze age Jewish myth got to do with anything?

  • @masala505 Well those are your thoughts & I can't make you believe in what believe.

  • @slapshot37GNR That's a fair comment.

  • @masala505 Sorry, it's just that I take my religion to heart. I believe that God accepts everyone regardless of religion, so I understand that everyone has their views. I also believe that Gary Moore is one of if not the most skilled guitarist of all time. Rock On \\m// haha

  • @slapshot37GNR I agree with you...a great guitarist!

  • @Grumberf As AC/DC sang: Hell ain't a bad place to be...

I'll see you all there... \m/

  • @Grumberf ANd Justin Bieber, Rebecca Black, Lady Gaga is still alive...

  • @Grumberf Duane Allman, Richie Valens, Buddy Holly, John Bonham, Keith Moon, DIO, Ronnie Van Zant.... and many others.

  • @Grumberf ehh...

  • First Lady Tee. Now Gary. Different genres, but both geniuses.

  • Fuck these goddamn ads before a video about Gary's death.

  • TOTALLY AGREE WILLSthe1st GLAD SOMEONE SAID IT .

  • Nice language here. Gary, you were good. Rest in peace. Loved all of it. Karen.

  • GOD BLESS GARY MOORE

  • Love that sound... will miss it greatly. Thanx for Still Got the Blues, Gary... one of the top 10 blues efforts ever.

  • People who can't find good music nowadays, aren't looking properly.

  • "Metal, blues, and Rock all featured in his repertoire"... you forgot to mention Jazz, and reggae, traditional Irish, and half a dozen other styles ........ This Guy could play anything, and play it well also. Gary was a Giant as a Musician and also as a Man had a very big heart. RIP..

  • unravelled1962 is a twat and a troll spam it if you see it

  • He wrote a few good songs, so maybe in heaven

he will be aloud to carry the guitars for Jimi Hendrix

and Stevie Ray Vaughn. And listen while they jam with

    Lynott and Bonham.

  • @Matshoppahulle lol how old are you ? you evidently don't play or you wouldn't be so ignorant....like the guy that said SRV was a Hendrix wannabe in clown clothes...I was around when Jimi glommed licks off of Buddy Guy & started dressing like a clown himself...you probably think Page & Clapton are gods LOL...very little is original especially in blues...but I forget you don't play shit but your dick huh ? LOL and btw ya braintrust the word is "allowed"

  • @Okpolosi I love playing with my dick. If you looked really careful you might

have understood i love Hendrix and Stevie Ray(saw him live). I saw Clapton and Gary Moore live .

    Nowhere near!!!

  • @Matshoppahulle bullshit you doe no crap

  • @Okpolosi I know it is "allowed" but sometimes i try to write with 2 fingers.

I play the piano and hold some smaller concerts. Can only play chords on

    guitar.

  • Wow! I did not know until today. :-( R.I.P.

  • i wonder how many of you gobbing off on here about gary moore saw him play if you did you would know what a twat he was . he was never likeed that much here in the uk cos of the way he tret fans he would tell them to fuck of all the time he fucked up lizzy he was a nice man

  • @yorkshiretractors he told bb king to fuck off and that he was a rubbish player . gary moore telling someone that . he was at best a bad pub player . gary moore the biggest twat in music

  • @yorkshiretractors I'd like to see the source for that, because on youtube you can find many vids of them jamming together.

  • @yorkshiretractors

Most people aren't fans of music just because someone is a "nice guy". Get over your hurt little feelings you fucking twat!

  • @yorkshiretractors i cant believe your still gobbin off bout Gary Moore, if you dont like him fine, but these people do, incredible player, i did see him live in Dublin, and over in Germany too,he was never rude or impolite, played very well. I love Lizzy, been up to Philomena a few times, and have been privileged to play in front of her quite a few times. But I wont be getting back into this with you, just letting you know. I even linked you stuff about the Moore and B.B king relationship

  • @Twizzlethis what the fuck are you on about you middle class asshole gary moore was scum he tret fans like shit . and was well known for it you have never seen him or you would know this your you a middle class asshole fuck off dont give a fuck what you think and by the way gary moore was not Irish he was born in London so get you facts right asshole yorkshire rules . have a nice day now .

  • @yorkshiretractors wow back country hicks are pricks. good day shithead.

  • @Twizzlethis fuck off paddy go get piss up on the black stuff . you middle class asshole

  • @yorkshiretractors well if you go to hell then you will not see Gary there! ...

  • so true.

  • @Twizzlethis @yorkshiretractors is right Gary Moore was very rude to fans . And I knew about him not getting on with BB KING that's is old news

  • @tealshelp why would bb king have played with him, and given him one of his guitars? and he never mouthed at fans during the gigs i was at. never acted like a diva in my experiences.and ,i aint havin a go at you if your not a fan, but why go onto videos of someone you don't like?or leave comments PURELY looking for arguments as it would seem people are doing?again not saying you are but tractors is.wrecks my head seeing it on any videos, but i know its done generally to release stress.

  • @Twizzlethis Well i am in Ireland .and I don't like the English .That is the main reason i never liked Gary Moore much . And why did he say he was Irish when in fact he was born in London England

  • @tealshelp He was Scottish

  • this is on google a german court has ordered former Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore to pay damages after ruling the guitar solo in his 1990 hit "Still Got the Blues" had been plagiarized from a German song written in 1974.

A court in the southern city of Munich said on Wednesday the solo in Moore's song was too similar to the one in "Nordrach" by the band Jud's Gallery not to have been copied

  • This man is something special. No one else can get his guitar to sing as he does. The fact that he can put so much emotion into the tones is just unbelievable. Almost supernatural. If the guitars have a god. Then Gery More is the God for guitars.

Wishing you were here!! Love you Gery!!! Missing you hard and painful!!!!!

  • @agelenterprises4u

    My thoughts exactly, well said.

Sadly missed, my guitar gently weeps for him.

  • Heart disease - Google for causes which include -alcohol abuse , drug abuse , bad diet - doing nothing about it when alerted by doctors etc.

Please take a warning from what has been said

There ain't no Rock 'n' Roll when you're dead .

  • metal..?

  • @YuriRhodenborgh it was back in the day metal

  • @YuriRhodenborgh Yes, metal. I am glad that what the reporter here has it right. Today so many people think of Gary Moore as a blues guitarist, whereas he is primarily a hard rock guitarist and you can hear it when he plays a blues song as well. I am also so glad that he is named as a former member of Thin Lizzy and regarded a ROCK guitar legend by the press. At least the man got the credit he deserved in those post mortem reports.

  • at least claptons still alive

  • @PureMarshallTone Barely ;)

  • all the good musicians are gone now we're left with fuckin rap and pop shit

  • @WILLSthe1st AND mindless metal shred!

  • @WILLSthe1st Bullshit, there are plenty of fantastic musicians left. You just need to know where to look.

  • @WILLSthe1st And dumb ass little punks with no talent, cant even play a solo let alone anything else.Fuck it man,all the good are going now because they are going before 2012,getting things ready up there ^.There is no other explanation.

  • @WILLSthe1st NO shit, rap is not even a music, it is a trash coming from the bowels of our world. RIP Gary!

  • @WILLSthe1st there is still a lot of young guitarist out there who is talented.

  • @wdpk12 yes i hope they stick to blues or rock (not these days rock)

  • @WILLSthe1st that`s true

  • @WILLSthe1st Theres alot of good players around. But they work at walmart or wash dishes. Music scene is all but dead. Sing along DJs are the big thing now. If you are a blues player your surely are living it nowadays.

  • @WILLSthe1st we've still got robert cray and a little bit of BB king.

  • i am shocked, jesus if i loved his playing so much-lol, stole a couple riffs, i cannot believe i just found out today he passed. if anyone knows the date and cause , can ya reply to me? i feel foolish and --why didnt Guitar World -or GP say anything? its like a secret or i am an ostrige!

  • it is fucking weird we dont know how our rock hero died or were he,s buried nothing i would see him here in holland this mond on a gig and now he,s gone it is so fucking weird

  • @poseidon26ful Last I heard, it was a suspected heart attack.

It's such a shame. He died way before his time.

I only got to see him once and met him briefly after the gig to sign something for me.

Would've loved to have seen him again.

  • @Balazak ok thanks for the info;-) i heave see him playing live back in 2009 it was a concert that i will never forget i wonder what will happen with his guitar he,s so menny of them i hope that the will stay in the famely and some of them in a rock museum or somting ;-)

  • He did everything with such love, feeling, passion...thats the true musician soul. RIP we will never forget you Gary!

  • I will celebrate gary,s life on monday which would be his 59th birthday.. I last saw gary live April last year. At the end of the gig I ran to the front of the stage cause i new he Would play Pariseene, I was standing mesmorised as i do. Gary leaned forward and said this i deicate to this lovely lady and pointed to me. I turned thinking he was talikng to someone else but he laughed and said no you. I was so proud and that will live with me for ever. Love you gary. Angela dalzell

  • @TheAngiebaby i saw him front row twice in 84 and then again in 94,i didnt get a song dedicated to me but i did get his autograph at glasgows barrowlands when he was going in for a soundcheck.a real nice guy that had the time of day to meet and speak to the fans which is a rare thing today with a lot of artists.he will be sorely missed and yourself just as me will be so glad you got to catch him play live

  • We WILL MISS YOU FOREVER ! RIP GARY

  • I'm still sad about his death and it's been over a month now. I will be celebrating my 59th birthday on March 23,2011. Gary Moore was a bit less than 2 weeks younger than me. Like the Yardbirds song says ''Still I'm Sad''

  • Fuck, there are less and less good musicians left with the original vibe, who's going to teach us the very best vibe from the 70's, 80's rock, blues, jazz? I know times are always changing but...

  • @EUSL84 Its just as well they recorded - like most of 'em that were worthy - saints in transient

  • Gary was a friend and most importantly, a brilliant guitarist and a good person. He is up there with Tommy Bolin as one of the most underappreciated and underrated guitarists of all time. He was a true genius and I love his music. If you play and you aren't familiar with his repertoire, you simply must check him out. I suspect alot of people will be jumping on his bandwagon after his passing... that's the way it goes isn't it....

  • @swanier1 Your words so true ! I saw him many times on stage and always he gave the best I can"t stop crying!

  • Gary was one hell of a guitar playing Its just too bad He left Us.He had a lot of soul in his playing. He will be missed.

  • Why Gary/? Why couldnt Ace Frehley Die.

  • No wayyyy garyyy I love you, you will always got the blues!

    R.I.P...unbelieveable..

  • Rest In Peace Gary!!! i jam for you now...

  • Heaven just got some serious tone!

  • Wow....fuckin' news! I just heard this! Total bummer! Aw shit! One of me favorite players now dead and gone. We won't forget you Gary! RIP my brother! "Victims" was my first album from him and I still love it! What a total loss to guitarists everywhere!

  • Absolutely devastated. Without a doubt my biggest influence and the reason I became a guitarist. May the blood of emeralds forever flow in your veins wherever you are. R. I. P.

  • No tributes from r'n'r world!!!! Shame!

  • @MegaRomina74 Guitar Player Magazine has a tribute to him planned already, but he is interviewed in this month's issue of GP. This was so sudden and unexpected I'm sure everyone will follow suit accordingly. The music world has lost a truly great one!

  • Loved him! One of the greatest guitarist of all time!! God Bless!

  • I Have Lost MY FATHER GARY MOORE THIS DAY, LONG LIVE THE KING! TM Boston

  • I'm still in a daze. I can't believe he's gone. I have been a big fan for many, many years. The band I played in covered a few of his tunes and believe you me it wasn't easy trying to get those solos down. I ended up just trying to get the mood of them into what I was doing. And that brings it all down to this. He may be copied but never duplicated. He was truely one of a kind and unique. Long may he be remembered!

  • RIP

  • we will not see the likes again..he could make me smile and make me cry without a word, his guitar work said all i wanted to hear,,thanks for the music gary.R.I.P

  • GOD BLESS YOU !

You are always on my Heart !
