Fire surge can hit 37 under the best possible circumstances(According to Jagex. They even said this in the announcement.). I don't know where Zed is getting 41.

Anyways, about the update. Unless they send us a long over do nerf of various melee weapons, various range weapons, and ancients, this update is just pointless.

Unless there are some other ways to boost your magic level, that stack with extreme magic and/or give a bigger boost. Then the max would be higher.

level 99 magic full ahrim (no staff) zamorak cape , glory ammy , so on (max magic bonus) heres the result:

Wind surge - 25 (max hit) !

Water surge - 30 (max hit) !

Earth surge - 36 (max hit) !

Fire surge - 41 (max hit) !

There u go the right max damage information about the surges, hope this ´ll solve ur questions se ya

the max hit of fire surge is 28 thats right, but if it is casted without proper bonuses (said by jagex)

fire surge can hit almost 40 with

proper bonuses (said by jagex)

you probably can can hit 40's with fire surge

if you are wearing a proper mage armour

you do know with the correct staff and or magic boosting potion fire surge hit's up to 33.

28 without boosts

30 with a magic damage-boosting staff

33 with extreme magic/overload

37 with both extreme magic/overload and a magic damage-boosting staff
