@mrbrain30 This wasn't composed by liszt. It's a Hungarian song of unknown origin. You probably knew that by being from Hungary though, right?

Wonderful! I remember having played this piece decades ago with the symphonic band of the Rotterdam conservatory. Complicated! You did very, very well!

so that's the orchestration, how cool! it's got a more playful tone to it than the piano solo

Not bad, but the intonation was all over the place. And why were the trumpets sitting so close to the audience? They were way too loud... Also it sounded very top-heavy - definitely more low brass would have been better.

I was at this concert... trumpets were not as loud in person. Cameras always capture different sound.
