Derek Kelly who played firefighter DK is Molly Price's husband in real life and they have a three year old little boy named Jake who was born in November 03 and Eva LaRue who played Brooke was supposed to be on one of the planes that hit the twin towers when she was eight months pregnant with her daughter but changed the flight to a different one so she could sleep in

Thanks for posting this programme. We get Third Watch in the Uk but never caught this. Extraordinary peopple. It works so well with just their memories - no replaying of the horrible footage - it doesn't need to, their words and emotions say it all.

Thanks Elisa for posting this. I never saw this before. It's very interesting... yet so depressing:( ... I remember the day it happened. I was in grade 9 and we watched it all day. I live in canada. I remember a number of police officers from canada went over there to help.
