  • Awesome track! Chrissy Hynde is awesome! I remember playing this track at a chill out room at Burning Man!

  • i've been obsessed with this song since "single white female"

  • @calmtides Was this in 'Single White Female'?

  • Written by Jon Anderson of Yes, sung by Chrissie Hind. Fantastic piece!

  • This entire album is classic and timeless.

  • I just heard this over the closing credits of the thriller Single White Female. It had to be Chrissie Hynde, because nobody has a voice like hers ... then I saw it was performed by Moodswings and looked it up here. I was right ... Chrissie Hynde. I think this may be her best song that I've heard so far.

  • @ghrpdx I hve always thought so too!!!

  • What great music Moodswings made. Great mix of rock, new age, trance, dance music.

  • AWESOME SONG.

  • Single White Female credits

  • ITS CHRISSIE HYNDE from the pretenders!

  • @rme2121 Yes, Moodswings was actually the drummer of the Pretendeners..I met him once when he played their album at this church in Vancouver...It was amazing. He was so humble and sweet and was suprised that anyone in Canada knew about them...It was one of those moments :))

  • Bonjour

je n'arrive pas à acheter ce morceau sublime, sur I Tunes.

    Pouvez vous m'aider.

    Merci

  • is there a live performance of this ?

  • I would so love to have this CD again, the one I had gave it's life for a good cause :)

  • this song and this version are used in the closing credits of the movie, Single White Female ..

  • Is it supposed to cut off so suddenly?

  • @GRBJ4 All songs on the album flow on from one song to the next without any pause or silence in between, so that's the reason.

  • @GRBJ4

  • @GRBJ4

    NO.

  • This is one hell of a song! I loved it when Donna Summer did it, but when Chrissie sang it in this remake it really reaches your soul!

  • BRANO SPLENDIDO E LEI LEADER DEI PRETENDERS UUUUUUUUUUUUNICA

  • I love this song, and Moodswing's version. I have to say, if it weren't this version, I would never have heard the version by Donna Summer, or the original composer Jon & Vangelis' version. I like this version very much. This was EXCELLENTLY done! Very smooth!

  • !!!

  • Original version by Jon Anderson and Vangelis (The Friends of Mr. Cairo album). I really like this version better than the one done by Donna Summer actually. Very well done

  • I'm sure there used to be a version of this song with loads of original Star Trek quotes echoing in the back ground. Please help me find it!

  • yep, original release on zoom records.not widely released coz of copyright clearances.annie nightingale used to play it on her sunday night show.

  • @churchviewoc - yes, I recorded this off the radio at the time from the Annie Nightingale Show and there was definitely some Star Trek quotes in it ('generators and stabilisers at maximum', 'captain.. captain... thank you...' etc). Not the 6mins or so version on this site from Zoom Records release but a longer 12mins plus version. Been trying to track this down for ages..

  • Uwielbiam tę płytę odkąd ją pierwszy raz usłyszałem w 92 roku - mimo upływu lat moja fascynacja nie zmalała - Spiritual High to super kompozycja i wykonanie

  • * is shocked by how good this my mind draws a blank and I default to 19th century lady curtseys in its presence

  • I've got the original vinyl extend play release of this from the early 90s. Gorgeous music now as then.

  • all the moodswings parts 1,2 and 3 are fantastic talk about chilling music puts me to sleep each time i hear them which is everyday bbbbbbbbbrrrillllllllllllllllllll

  • ...Splendid, thanx for posting, its a sure mood therapy. great track!!!

  • used to have this MoodFood laserdisc back in the early 90s...after clubbing in Fat City (New Orleans) we'd come back to my apt. , turn on the blue lights in the three 90 gal. aqauriums, and put this on to come on down to sleep. Wonderful!

  • @kiwijeff7 consider yourself one lucky bastard :D

  • @randommoosebrains ..I do my friend. Now @ 44 yrs.of age, at least I have the memories. We were the pleasure seekers.

  • @kiwijeff7 ....Kennys Key West? Or Aliens I think it was also called??

  • @voiceblastleads yeah, it was Kenny Vincent's Southside one one side and World War 3, which later became Aliens on the other. That was back in 87-92. They were both after hour clubs that opened around 12 or 1 a.m. Absolute freak show...plenty of extremely good pills and the music was imported from Europe via New York....lines to get in @ 5 a.m. I remember eating pizza @ Southside around ten in the morning...shit was crazy back then. ...had sex several times in Aliens.r u from N.O.?
