  • Leaves me pondering if we cycle or rewind. Very responsive & thought provoking Poetry.

  • Beautiful work. Camera angles, colors, words, music -- all work together to create a beautiful visual composition.

  • @majenh Thanks so much, Pia! Means a lot. Thanks everyone. :)

  • Striking clarity in the mixture of imagery and a wonderful addition to Haveit's library.Kevin's piece really is lovely and just right. The one animation where your body slumps down and later rises back up as if pulled by one arm - I assume you shot the forward and the reverse - which is the original, the slumping or the rising?

  • @2SenseProductions thanks Friday! I shot those clips in reverse. In fact, after that, all the clips are in reverse: the woman coming backwards up the steps, the wave retreating in the library, the waterfall flowing upwards... to suggest going back in time where brook is reduced into rain, rain called back up into cloud, which is sucked back into the sea where all living codes are written. Thanks for noticing!

  • @2SenseProductions again. Friday I don't think I answered your question fully. The slumping was the original animation Haveit provided (i.e., the woman dying of thirst). I reversed it to suggest both the reversal of time and the ink being sucked back into the pen. the dark woman with the floating hair serves many purposes: She is the seeker of the code, but she is also the substance of the code, the ink of the poem, lost humanity....time itself....

  • BRAVO. Words and image work wonderfully together.

  • Very nicely done, Hypathia ; a very creative and interesting way to show Haveit Neox's work.

  • Wow. As usual, a wonderful poem combined with graceful camera work always keeping the viewer totally engaged. Bravo, Miss Pickins!

P.S. Yeah, that hair Nailed it down tightly! Is there a male version? :-)

  • @SpiralSiverstar My male alts are all clamoring to buy it. :) Thanks Spiral, your original work on this is also splendid, of course. It looks like Chic and jj and I are all following your example. :)

  • awesome screen image for video tab, loving the poetry, wonderful imagery (and great hair!) perfect music for this too, love it!

  • @CelestialElf lol Elf... again, thanks for liking the hair! I wear nothing but that now. :)

  • A very nice composition of music, pictures and poem.
