14 hours is average on the Yukon river since the sun doesn't set for very long during the summer. Maybe 2 to 3 hours of dusk @ 1 to 3 am. You spend most of the time just drifting and not much paddling is required. No pics of flames since they were over the mountain just tons of smoke and fall out of ashes.
woh it would have been cool to see some flames, well not if your trapped on the water but still. Is 14 hrs considered a really long day on the water?
