  • is this using shop air or O2/shop air or O2/O2?

    what stack /amp set up?

  • @wrightdesigns3333 70 amps O2/air consumables. Ultra Cut 300 with Gas Control

  • @Simonh1959

The smoke that is released is terrible and Will give you alzheimer's

If watch a industrial sized plasma table cutting empty you know not to breath it in and it will fill a shop in no time.

  • @Simonh1959 The waterbath eliminates most of the dust and debris from entering the air from the plasma cutting process. Since the table is powder coated their isn’t much need to protect the table from rusting. The slats however will start rusting once the water is removed, but it isn’t bad. Cutting steel that has a mill scale won’t rust if left on the table but if you use steel that has the scale removed the material will start rusting if not dried off.

  • @torchmatedotcom - why do you power coat the slats? They would fill with plasma dust (or become cut and damaged by the arc) in a shorter time it will rust.

  • @121ego we only provide them on TMX turnkey tables and they are just hot roll 3/16 flat bar.

  • cool stuff. how do you keep it from cutting through the tray

  • @sjaderlund the material is set on top of vertical slats and a bed of water. Eventually these vertical slats to need to be replaced but they have a fairly long life.

  • This has servo motors? Not the steppers?

  • @fastedos1969 yes, this has servos

  • please can you tell me why you use ultra cut 300 not ultra cut 100

  • @massareng It just depends on the thickness of the material you will be cutting and your production needs.

  • Would using a standard machining spray mister on a normal torch head yield similar results?. Seems like it could be a easy add on system to a existing system

  • @simiweld We don’t think so. Many of the other plasma manufacturers have been trying this technology for years without much success. We believe that there is more to it than that.

  • haha this machine with the ultra cut 300 is a good price period... when your looking into productivity this machine running 8 hours a day should pay for it self very quickly.

  • How did you solve the discolouration?

  • On the higher end plasma cutters like this, you can use a water mist secondary which will prevent any discoloration. On the lower end cutters you would have to buff that discoloration out. It becomes a time versus money thing. Spend more on a cutter with water mist secondary and you save yourself time removing the burned edge look.

  • Could you cut stainless steel 22 gauge out burning the edges.

  • 30K and the rack gear is on the INSIDE!!

  • Does it cut into the plates in the water table?

  • Comment removed

  • @acuchemkid2007 Yes, the plate sits on top of the water table and the water reduces the amount of dust and debris from the cutting process.

  • Great! Give us a call if you have any questions! (866)571-1066

  • good god that plasma cutter is 30,000 dollars! amazing machine though. Have my eye on that 2by2 protoype version
