  • Thanks really enjoyed, one love

  • what version or translation is this by so far in all your videos there has been a lot of important parts that have completely been altered or deleted, for example in the tablets it say's that Gilgamesh's reason to search for immortality is because of Enkidu's death which is a metaphor for his own "vision" of the way that man should be (dead). Also when Gilgamesh is going trough the mountain pass its supposed to be he cries on the 7th league (which you said were years)Your version left out a lot

  • @unkn0wn54 how can u determine what metaphors ancient races had? how can u be sure they are not telling a true tale.. instead of metaphors yo

  • Because it would cause worldwide anarchy lol

  • I want a movie to be made out of this seriously! Why hasn't there been one with such a great story to tell visual? WOW

  • It was a great effort mate !!

  • so he was running in a black whole for 12 hours

    to another dimension

  • Twin Peaks is where Laura Palmer was killed.

We're still searching for immortality. And ever we find it, I wonder how we will look at this story?

  • The twin peaks is where the scorpion monster and is wife lived.

Read About the king of great walled Uruk.

  • The Laura Palmer thing was a joke.

The kind of great walled Uruk started out as quite the jerk. Then he became a decent guy, thanks to Enkidu, thanks to Shamhat. She's the real hero of the first few tablets.

  • Gilgamesh found immortality. He discovered that living forever physically was impossible, yet he discovered that his legacy, his story, and his great city would live on in the minds of mankind forever. With this thought, he fell to his knees.

  • Well, it worked. People are still talking about him and his deeds all these thousands of years later.

  • My God....He sure did run for a long time :)

  • The Twin peaks he is referring to are Mt. Ararat and Little Ararat. AKA Sis and Masis.

  • Really? Where is this written? I'd like to check it out.

    Thanx

  • sumarian rock tables my friend
