I just began taking these lessons and I absolutely love them. I did take French 101 in college so I do remember some of these words, but this is still very helpful and I can't wait to get through each lesson to learn more. I see that you are up to lesson 34, just made now in January. I so hope yu continue, you are doing a great job and hopefully the course will eventually be named "Intermediate French". Can't wait to get there! Thank you for your work!!!

Hi Mc8193, Thank you for joining the growing band of students using this course. I used a method similar to this to teach myself Latin - Ollendorff's. This French course uses the original Serial and Oral method, which is superior.

Thanks. I also think this system is pretty good - it is time consuming for the teacher, but rewarding for the student - progress is slow, but very steady. Unlike with most French courses, you will come out at the other end with some ability to speak the language - even after the first lesson, you will have learned some forms that would be useful at a dining table.
