I personally think that this group did a good job on this song. Was it a little simple? Yes. But at least it was done well. Check out Albertville High School CenterStage's version from 2008 if you want a little more excitement! BTW... TG is one of my fave groups year after year! Love you guys! Keep up the great work!
Aaron, it is not as simple as you assume. Watch it again, and consider the amount of things going on in a minute and a half. A costume change for the girls, a resetting of five large flats, an introduction of boxes, and the introduction of the first ballad blocking. The stage is never bare, nor does it simply rely on a soloist with some dancers.
transition numbers like this are poor show design, in my opinion. especially when the extent of the choreography in this song, if it can be called that, is walking in time and a unison raising of the arms.
