i finally understand what you mean by outlining the changes... your videos really have helped my piano playing alot. imma put up a vid of me playing a tune using your guide lines soon.
@gospelkeys07 Audio program called Reaper is used to record the backing track directly into the computer during playback. Reaper is a multi-track recording software program.
I actually just learned this song and played it in a trio setting. Fun song to play, I notice some changes is the changes (hehe). I too perfer to play it a tad slower.
@yuujfuj Great question. If my musical intent is clear, I am usually spot-on in my self-expression. Execution however, does not always succeed - that is the continual learning process.
Thanks man, you are amazing. Really really helpful! I would love it if you make more like this. The quick annotations, backings plus the EP sound are a godlike combination.
heck yeah roger!! you had a really nice idea you quoted twice over the ii-V in d minor. i owe ya couple thousand bucks in lesson fee's for these videos. ;)
this sounds and looks real nice - fantastic even! - but it isn't Miles's rhythm is it? I mean, you have changed it from miles' rhythm in the head. More power to ya. Miles in in 3, you are in 4.
Awsome as usual! Thanks!

Very nicely played! I think this sounds great at 240bpm; a more leisurely pace is easier for the listener.

Hi
i have a question
when you solo do you play exactly what your head wants to hear? or is it mostly your hand just moving around if you know what i mean...?
