Last year Israel demolished 2 arab houses in Jerusalem because they were illegally built. 70 houses of jews were demolished for the same reason.

Jerusalem is the internal capital of Israel. We have freedom of religion, so everyone can pray and worship freely, but the city itself, is part of Israel.

In my opinion, the fact that some propagandists give hope to palestinians that East Jerusalem will ever be part of their "country" (if they will ever have a country in the next 50 years lol) - is just giving them false hopes and big expectations, and by that destroying the chance to have peace between Israelis and palesttinians. Although the west bank was the heart of the ancient Israeli kindgdom, I will be willing to give some parts of it (50% -60%) for peace - but ONLY for true peace.

In 1948 thousands or Jews who lived in East Jerusalem for hundreds of years, were kicked, killed, and expelled by Jordanians and Arabs. The division of Jerusalem to two, and the Jordanian occupation of the east part was artificial. The city was NEVER divided before in the 5000 years it existed. It was only divided for 19 years. It's Israel capital forever now :)

As for freedom - only after the city was united under Israel control - in 1967 - there was freedom of religion to all religions. Before that - the Jordanians never allowed jews to worthip in the eastern part.

Since that year the jews became more and more a majority in this city. By the way - another fact is that after 1948, the Jews who lived in East Jerusalem for hundreds of years - were all kicked by Jordan. Thank god the city is united again. It'll neverbe divided again.

I think that Israel, or a separate organization, should pass a law that would pay for Palestinian Arabs to move and settle in a new country. It would help place them and transport them to a new country at each person's personal option. I think that if this possibility is available many Arabs would move away to live a better life somewhere else.

@urs4ever86 I have been to Israel a few times. I staying for 3 months. I have seen both sides. Poor jews and arabs there and also many live well. In the north in Nataynia there were many suicide bombs. That isn't true they don't really mix. Different schools, different neighborhoods, different businesses. Israel isn't US. In US people really mix because our policy and culture allows it. Israel says this is a country for Jews. How does that make non-jews feel? They hate it.

Last year Israel demolished 2 arab houses in Jerusalem because they were illegally built. 70 houses of jews were demolished for the same reason.

In 1948 thousands or Jews who lived in East Jerusalem for hundreds of years, were kicked, killed, and expelled by Jordanians and Arabs. The division of Jerusalem to two, and the Jordanian occupation of the east part was artificial. The city was NEVER divided before in the 5000 years it existed. It was only divided for 19 years. Since that year the jews became more and more a majority in this city. By the way - another fact is that after 1948, the Jews who lived in East Jerusalem for hundreds of years - were all kicked by Jordan. Thank god the city is united again. It'll neverbe divided again.

I think that Israel, or a separate organization, should pass a law that would pay for Palestinian Arabs to move and settle in a new country. It would help place them and transport them to a new country at each person's personal option. I think that if this possibility is available many Arabs would move away to live a better life somewhere else.

They can't accept diversity. It is a delusion to think Arabs will be happy with the west bank or gaza. Just give them an option to help them leave if they want. Israel helps people move there but it doesn't help people leave and it won't give them citizenship. Realistic solution!

@urs4ever86 I have been to Israel a few times. I staying for 3 months. I have seen both sides. Poor jews and arabs there and also many live well. In the north in Nataynia there were many suicide bombs. That isn't true they don't really mix. Different schools, different neighborhoods, different businesses. Israel isn't US. In US people really mix because our policy and culture allows it. Israel says this is a country for Jews. How does that make non-jews feel? They hate it.

@urs4ever86 Israel doesn't have the luxury to have the same liberalism as Europe and the US. These places have large populations and security. So either Israel allows the Palestinians to become citizens and it is one state. That is what happens in most countries that conquer a population, it integrates the people into the country. Or the other option is to help the Arabs that are unhappy with Israel leave. It is already a two state. If you havent noticed. Still no peace!

Destroy their property, damage the infrastructure, collective punish their family members, and it seems that it always works out that more Arab fatalities than Jewish fatalities, population control. Rather than collective punishment. Simply pay them to leave. People will say that is racist. But people call you that now. This way Israel doesn't turn into their enemies. A humane way of fighting.

Pass a law that will help pay for thetransport. They would be rich if they left. I have seen their homes, many live better than most in US. Sell their homes, Israel gives them maybe 10K to leave. When they leave they have 50k. Moving to Jordan or Libya they will be rich. people will feel bad for them because they have watched TV for the last 60 years. Good rich popular celebrity life with there Arab friends. Maybe even transport the Al-Aqsa mosque by helicopter to Sudan or somewhere.

Many Jews lived in East Jerusalem before 1948 - more than 50 thousand (at that time) and they were all kicked or killed by the Arabs and Jordanians during that war when Jordan occupied the eastern part of Jerusalem. They were not allowed to EVER come back.
