voice wise, LaToya London has it all (vocals, range) except she really has no fighting spirit of winning or she really has boring personality or maybe she's just down to earth.

Fantasia was soulfully great but quite exaggerated sometimes. Jennifer was really voted out because she sings like Broadway although she has very big voice.

look at this totally robbed contestant ever in AI history. Season's 3 Lisa Leuschner. I believe she would have won that season.

I remember when she singed "All by Myself" After hearing her sing that. I knew she was gonna be on Idol a while. I also liked it when she singed "All the time" and of coarse this one. She even singed this song better the first time because I am sure she was hurt inside after getting eliminated. She did a good job hiding the pity. Oh well. I'm glad she's doing well now.

This was like really the last time i watched an American Idol season thorougly from the 1st episode to the last and i watched it because of Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson, and Latoya London and was praying that they'd be the last 3 standing so when Jen and Toya got voted off early in the game you can just about imagine how pissed i was and STILL i get mad about it lol but can't complain because now ALL 3 are stars so good job for them!

this week was a nightmare- Jasmine gave a truly mediocre performance, and Simon made some comment about packing her bags, so she started bawling. I remember rolling my eyes.

With Hawaii's timezone being hours behind the rest of the country, when voting time came they basically were able to call & vote with NO concern of getting a busy signal. That's the ONLY reason this travesty happened. LaToya deserved to be in the final two- everyone was anticipating a showdown between her and Fantasia...

@mnmcv1 the ONLY reason? really??... yeah jasmine did get alot of votes from hawaii, but hawaii by itself couldnt support jasmine all the way to the top 3... and NOT EVERYBODY from hawaii voted for her, and there are people in hawaii that doesnt even watch idol. and hawaii is ranked 40something out of 50 states for population. lets say that if everybody in cali voted just once, it would take everybody in hawaii about 30 times to vote just to catch up with california's votes...

@mnmcv1 I think that type of thing happens quite a bit sometimes. People get mad when the judges are cruel esp when a contestant gets upset, and it's not fair to the person who gets chopped. I would have had LaToya at least the top 3. Diana with her performance here did earn her spot in the top three

Jasmine Trias cried after her performance the night before--due to less than positive comments from the judges. So, some people think she got pity votes that night, putting her above Latoya and thus kicking Latoya out of the competition the next day.

Also, I definitely put this performance above Lea Michele's. Lea's is very good rendition of the song as well, but I prefer Latoya's overall to hers.

She was the best female singer and I think the best overall singer American Idol has ever seen!!!! She never sang a single note out of tune. I dont know why she went home either.
