  • There are lots of non-obovious safety issues in lasers - some are even invisible like IR leakage - so you can't really tell unless you really know hat you are looking for. What it comes down to is what components are chosen, who is checking the quality assurance and what those decisions mean for your being able to use the product safely. In the US, we are careful. Elsewhere, really not so much. I will admit it can be hard to tell until it fails sometimes. Yours is almost def not US legal though.

  • Great video. Lots of useful information in both parts 1 & 2!

I was curious tho, you imply that many lasers are bad or illegal. I have a Green and Violet laser that is made in China, and Im wondering how can you tell if the company is good or bad. I notice a lot of lighting companies now days are made in china (american dj, chauvet, etc).

So I took mine apart, and I noticed it had lots of guts on the inside compared to many, but all screws are there nothing loose, or rigged like this.

  • @audiofanaticz Thanks for the kind words. We try.

  • Great to see an off brand laser taken apart by someone that knows what to look for. Thank you for this video.

  • Awesome Video ! Just try looking at the camera.
