I think she's great, but I couldn't handle the shows because of all the shit heads screaming along to the songs. Think of her standing up and singing in some not so big theatre, in a classic setting and 2/3 of the crowd is screaming the songs so loud that you can't even hear her sing it. Fuck everyone.

I think it's related to the fact so many less than "society's perfect ideal" young ladies identify with her, they sing her songs in private, having experienced the things she sings of, and they feel comfortable opening up at her shows with it. An audience of comiserating broken hearts if you will.

Wonder how Adele feels about it. Of course she appreciates her fans but it can't be easy or fun to sing over your own obnoxiously loud audience!

When Adele says 'I set fire to the rain', she want's the audience listening to picture her setting fire to the rain (which we all know is not possible, which is why the lyric is so strong) and Adele (herself) throwing herself into it because she can't take the pain of the relationship anymore and would rather set fire to them. Next time think before making such retarded comments.
