  • I miss her so.. Sooooo.. Do it.. I miss her so.

  • your a dipshit if it wastnt for mlb there wouldnt be a drunk named vedder

  • Some people are so stupid. You can be a fan of Eddie and Pearl Jam and a fan of Motherlovebone. The sad reality is that Andy died so Pearl Jam was possible. That's life but both have given the world great music. I love Pearl Jam, Motherlovebone,Alice in Chains,Soundgarden,Nirvana and a variety of other arists/genres. If you truly were a fan of music, you'd understand and appreciate there's more to love than what you've allowed yourself in your very narrow box.Grow up, you don't have to pick sides!

  • I remember my dad listened to this when i was like 9 .. this stuck with me and flaming lips faster pussycat .. thank god for cool parents haha

  • @iTzzEuphoriaaaaaa Amen to that! :)

  • Happy Birthday Landrew.

  • Pearl jams alright....but no where near how amazing alice in chains or soundgarden are, Layne staley and chris cornells voices are untouchable, eddie vedders voice kind of gets annoying after a while.

Love mother love bone though, R.I.P Andrew Wood.

  • Left us way too soon Andy , you were a rock star !

  • pearl jam's great but i can never say a band is the best beacuse there all the best in there own way

  • damn people need to shut the fuck up and listen to the music man

  • @fallingtopeices92 Lol awesome comment, dude! Greets!

  • i love scrolling down to the comments and two dumbasses are calling each other losers grow up

  • @LMAFRO guess what? now there's 3 of us. welcome to the club nosy bitch :)

  • OLD ENOUGH TO SHUT YOU UP!! and by the way. if 1967 is your DOB you sould be listening to ABBA HA, HA ,ha

  • @MEXMENTheGreat so layne and kurts's favourites bands were ABBA?

  • @napsspur kurt's was the beatles and layne's I dont' know, but i''m pretty sure it wasn't ABBA (singular not plural)

  • @MEXMENTheGreat I am pretty sure he was commenting on the fact that you said because my DOB was 1967 that I should be listening to ABBA. Kurt and Layne were both born in 1967 as well you dunce!

  • @samhain1967 I never ment to ofend you by saying you liked ABBA, I ment the Bee Gees. HA

  • @MEXMENTheGreat you didn't offend me by saying that I liked ABBA nor the Bee Gees... In fact I do like them both... as a musician myself I respect both bands for their success and longevity. It must suck to be you though, only having a hard on for Eddie Vedder and trolling here. What a fucking loser. lol

  • If you don't like Vedder and Pearl Jam, you don't deserve to listen any Grunge songs...please listen to Justin Beiber....

  • like the fact cornell mention's a 'stargazer' in say hello 2 heaven of wood's tribute album temple of the dog.

  • if it wasnt for drugs we wouldnt have this music im sorry to say

  • @heymissdj you sound like me i like all them

  • andrew one of a kind.... i talk with his mom she talked of his faith mama sez jesus is wright u should here his friend bolan s music. u tube enter medicine mann 7 or logan bolan they were and still are friends here on earth and in heaven god bless u andrew rok on.............

  • @heymissdj

Unfortunately, it won't stop until drugs are out of the picture.

  • Fantastique

  • <3

  • Guns N Roses are the Godfathers of Grunge. Mother Love Bone blows my mind!

  • @tidussloan83 somethin like the transition between hair and grunge. it was prime no doubt.

  • This sounds hella hair metal

  • @whassupthen No. No. it doesn't.

  • pearl jam is the best band in the world period. mlb just another tragic story, i love andrew but he's in heaven looking down smiling everytime pearl jam plays. i promise.

  • @1kevin2fly Pearl Jam is far from the best band in the world. They have their place in rock sure, but they have no where near the magic MLB did. Andy was on the same level as Morrison, Hendrix, Presley etc... Eddie Vedder though good in his own right, will never be that.

  • @samhain1967 NO HE WAS NOT haha

  • @MEXMENTheGreat Is that the best you have loser?

  • @samhain1967 don't take it so personal LOSER!

  • @MEXMENTheGreat lol what a goof. Look if you can't offer anything other than "no he was not" then you deserve being called a loser. And it's you who is getting all uptight... LOSER! :D

  • @samhain1967 HEY. I didn't realize you had a crush on him. SORRY!!

And you can call him GOD for all care HA, HA

  • @MEXMENTheGreat How old are you? Does your mommy know you're fooling around on the internet. Grow up, loser. :)

  • @samhain1967 the real question is DO YOU KNOW I'M FOOLING AROUD WITH YOUR MOMMY???

  • @samhain1967 Nice subjective opinion.

  • @1kevin2fly A true toast.

  • @1kevin2fly gottta disagree on that one...Iron Maiden best band pearl jam is good

  • @itsallgoodtoo I'm gonna say you're both stupid for saying that. But both of them are in my top five.

  • @itsallgoodtoo see saying some band is the best band is just stupid because everyone disagrees and few agree

  • @1kevin2fly are you kidding me? Pearl Jam?

  • @bignads5 Pearl Jam fucking rocks.

  • @1kevin2fly Pearl Jam sucks ass.

  • yesthey great

  • what an amazing song I just discovered !!!

  • Used to meditate to this song before playing in soccer games back in mid 90s. MLB, Janes Addiction and Pixies were all just too damn good for their own good. Those that made it out alive and together: Foo and PJ don't suck either.

  • Great song.

  • i remember concerts@ da satyricon in da 90's in dat was da best time in my life. bands arn't da same! mlb u live on in our memories n hearts! peace from Portland,Or

  • lots of people fail to realize that mlb is the grand father of grunge/seattle sound and pearl jam was in someway born out of mlb while mlb cant grow anymore pearl jam continues thier legacy.....personaly pearl jam has stood the test of timeand besides candlebox/ pearl jam the true seattle sound is dead.....a sad fact is look what comes out of drug use depression and fucked up life....great musit seattle sound will always live in my heart as #1

  • @desolategrey i love MLB, always have, but they weren't really going for a grunge sound. Just a hard rocking band, they were more glam than grunge. And if anyone still sounds like sludgy grunge, it's AIC with Duvall.

  • @heymissdj i wish the list would end. its so sad

  • Oh Xana...

  • this remind me of smoking joints and listen this song

  • This ios one of the the very best bands from the grunge era. All heart and sole. Andrew lives on to the people who uncerstand and appreciate the music, the heart and the soul that come with all his words- words and music! What happened after was fuled by his sacrifice. A singer gone too soon.

  • The best Album of all time.

  • YEaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

  • i love this song its so magical it takes me away...

  • Crazy, Crazy...

    I'm a boy *-*

  • stargazer u call the shots and i take em oh baby pleeze

  • ♥ this song... it's beautiful

  • the doors rule

  • @heymissdj Hopefully soon.

  • so sad heroin the death of so many before they were ever known,as a heroin addict they sing what i feel may they have rest

  • God that's good

  • Mother Love Bone was a great band but so is Pearl Jam. A band that has lasted 20 years and is one of the only bands of its era and success that is still together and besides drummers has remained unchanged in this time. 2 member of MLB are in Pearl Jam that is not a reason to dislike pearl jam or critisise especially is your are MLB fan as you still get you see influence in PJ however Pearl Jam and MLB are distinct bands style and musicwise but great but not comparable especially negatively.

  • @heymissdj yeah they're pretty good. didn't even know about them till now. thanks.

  • @heymissdj music will no longer be heartfelt. unfortunately, A LOT of the good music was drug / drug problem inspried. its sad, but beautiful.

  • @heymissdj it will stop when people stop using drugs

  • I may not know Eddie Vedder but I read about him bitching how the 1st Pearl Jam Record sold too many copies and how difficult being famous is. Andrew was a Cool Being who was enthusiastic about life, art and music. It's sad to think about what might have been, What almost was

  • Artistically speaking, PearlJam has eclipsed these songs.

  • comming back andrew..

  • Beauty of a song.

  • Why can't girls get along......

  • Such a shame this couldn't go on forever~~~

  • How the fuck is there anything bad about Pearl Jam? Even if you dislike Eddie Vedders voice, who can deny his talent! I love Mother Love Bone and Pearl Jam.

  • Andrew Wood was an amazing vocalist. In alot of ways he reminds me of Shannon Hoon, who too is deceased. All my fav vocalists are dead. Time for some new 90's music to take over the air waves. Bring it back!!!

  • @anzioanney0789 I can see that

  • Andrew Wood was an amazing vocalist. In alot of ways he reminds me of Shannon Hoon, who too is deceased. All my fav vocalists are dead. Time for some new 90's music to take over the air waves. Bring it back!!!

  • How come i never hear this band on the radio. I was born in 1991. Never heard their songs before. I love it because its 80s style with alittle bit of 90s grunge every now and then

  • LOVE ROCK.

  • PJ sucks. Eddie sings like he has a dick in his mouth.

  • @TheTrueDarkMartyr and u would be that very dick then?

  • @sparklyblubuterfly HA, HA it's not the first time somebody called me a dick, it's O.K. hope you feel better.

  • @TheTrueDarkMartyr aw thank u so much for asking & yes i do feel better actually :0D...

  • @TheTrueDarkMartyr

If you don't appreciate Eddie's voice I would definitively like to know what kind of music you are used to listen to...

  • @cricetorusso I listen to MLB obviously, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Sound Garden, Heart, Jimmi Hendrix, Pennywise, Led Zepplin, Queensryche, STP, Mudhoney, ZZ top, The Beatles, ICP, Bad Company, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Kiss, Simon and Garfunkel, DRI, Janes Addiction. Just to name a few, I love music, just think PJ and Eddie suck, just my opinion.

  • @TheTrueDarkMartyr

Fortunately an inusual opinion. Listen carefully "Man of the hour" and say again that he's not a great singer!

  • @TheTrueDarkMartyr YOU AND ICP SUCK BUT JUST MY OPINION AND STOP LISTENING TO CLOWNS THAT MIGHT BE PART OF YOUR PROBLEM

  • @TheTrueDarkMartyr YOU AND ICP SUCK BUT JUST MY OPINION AND STOP LISTENING TO CLOWNS THAT MIGHT BE PART OF YOUR PROBLEM PEARL JAM ROCKS EDDIE IS A GREAT SINGER AS WAS ANDREW WOOD

  • @shaunkingsrevenge So you launch personal attacks against someone you don't even know for having an opinion that differs from yours? I truly feel sorry for you, so simple minded, probably why you posted the same post two times. Do you really feel that passionate about other peoples posts? Maybe you need help?

  • @TheTrueDarkMartyr i meant to reply to cricetorusso and yes i am passionate and i hate clowns especially those clowns dont waste your time feeling sorry for me im happy with who i am regardless of what you think i might need besides when did you tube become therapy?

  • @TheTrueDarkMartyr and you know this HOW????

  • you tube is being a sloppy hamburger cunt right now.

  • RIP all the true stars

  • first time hearing it ..... its good 80's music like i was right in the bar !!!crank it up add some effects

  • Who the fuck cares what their genre label was? Fuck you guys for being so transparent.

Music IS explanation it needs no explanation.

  • Hmm, I wasnt really debating. I totally disagree, by the way about AIC as I think songs like Love, Hate, Love, Nutshell, Brother just to name a few were quite creative and definitely from the soul. I wasn't debating who is and isn't grunge, BTW Shannon and Layne were real close friends in the day, plus Blind Melon is from the same era in rock. I was really only paying my respects to the fallen stars...and MLB is often credited with being the beginning of the Seattle grunge era. Just my opinion 2

  • @BigNick419andholding If anyone started grunge it was Green River, later Mother Love Bone and Mudhoney

The term itself was invented by Mark Arm to describe Mudhoney's sound

And i know im gonna get flamed for this, but i think Pearl Jam are better :P

  • songs like this bring you back to a certain point in life, who can remember exactly where they were when this song impacted them... made its presence known. friggin magic!

  • Stevie Ray & Andy just sitting around...THE guitar & THE voice jamming away, can't wait til i get there

  • muito bom esse som!!!

  • muito bom essa banda

  • why best people always die so early...

maybe cause they dont claim to live in this shit world...

    RIP LAYNE,KURT,ANDY...

  • hey TrekGirl...PJ is oh so cool for me too....F the negative....go where your heart takes you

  • R.I.P. Andrew, Shannon, Layne.....There should have been more praise for all of these guys.....TOP 10 voices all-time

  • music is life and thankfully mother love bone made this one much better!!!

  • <3 RIP :(

  • <3 RIP

  • had Andy remained with us, we'd have a catalogue of amazing music to go by, but regardless, we have some of the best recorded music in history encased within this album. breathtaking song.

  • man these guys have a great sound and the vocals are fkn awsome. Stargazer !

  • It really saddens me to read all the negative comments about Pearl Jam here. I LOVE Pearl Jam, and always will. But I think it is very easy to love both. Andy's death was a horrible tragedy and MLB was a massive talent that never got to reach it's full potential. But all you PJ haters ought to at least be glad that through PJ, MLB's music lives on, and is being introduced to new fans all the time. And it is through PJ that at least 2 members of MLB were able to achieve their dreams.

  • @PKTrekGirl No kidding. I love MLB, yet without Andy's tragic death I would not have been able to grow up listening to such greats as "Black" or "Alive" both of which were the soundtrack, along with so many others, of my own teenage angst. So I say RIP Andrew Wood, and thank god for Pearl Jam. We still have two good albums of MLB to enjoy, and believe me, I do.

  • @BigNick419andholding Exactly! Andy's death would have happened with or without PJ. And I'm not sure what some of these folks would have liked - for Stone and Jeff to have just given up and faded quietly into oblivion in their grief? What good would that have done? Instead, they picked themselves up, formed PJ, and to this DAY, MLB's music is played to tens of thousands of fans at concerts all over the world. And "Andy" is very often uttered in the same sentence as "Kurt" and "Layne".

  • @PKTrekGirl It kinda like all the Will DuVall haters who apparently would have liked to see AIC disappear into oblivion, but I for one am glad they are still making albums. Only real grunge fans even know who Andy is, sadly. Almost everyone knows Kurt, many know Layne, but Andy really dosen't get the respect he deserves. Damn shame. So, rest in peace Kurt, Layne, Andy, Shannon, Jimi, so on, so on...

  • @BigNick419andholding Yeah...seems a lot of fans handle their grief in unproductive ways. They hate on Eddie Vedder & Will Duvall when these guys didn't even KNOW Andy & Layne, and certainly had zero to do with their deaths. Stone & Jeff picked themselves up and moved forward - they had to do something, being young and broke. Jerry & AIC had the 'luxury' (if you could call it that) of taking more time to cope. But I too am glad AIC is back. I'll always miss Layne, but that's not Will's fault

  • Andrew Wood was not grunge and neither was Shannon Hoon. Don't mean to be picky but the Andy and Shannon left those other guys in the dust when it came to all aspects of music, Expecially writing. I am a long time musician and AIC and Nirvana songs are really predictable with nothing standing out. Cookie cutter is the phrase that comes to mind.

Almost without exception MLB and BM songs are distinctive. Putting chords and melodies together beautifully that are rarely seen in music. My 2 cents

  • @Shinertheantizionist What do you think of soundgarden?

  • @jongib369 I like Soundgarden but I don't think they are grunge either. I saw them twice and that was a rock show. I came of age in the hair band days and I like to see a SHOW. Grunge shows are boring to watch. Pearl Jam has good music but their shows lack flair. If I just want to see great musicianship I can watch my friends for free. A concert should be larger than life and grunge fails to deliver. Again just my 2 cents

  • @Shinertheantizionist worst 2 cents ever....this song is good but it just kinda floats by,with nothing standing out.my 2 cents

  • @BigNick419andholding I AM FUCKING AGREE ABOUT YOUR WORDS...JUST FOUND AT LEAST ANYONE WHO IS TRUE GRUNGE FAN...OTHERS FANS ARE JUST GRUNGE WANNABES...THEY DON'T KNOW WHO ANDY WAS.

  • @PKTrekGirl

I couldn't have put that better myself!

    R.I.P. Andrew Wood

You are loved and missed my many ***

    Luv Annette from Seattle

  • @PKTrekGirl

I love you for this comment

  • @PKTrekGirl

    Great post

  • @PKTrekGirl

    Very well said, my friend.

  • @PKTrekGirl im with you!

  • @PKTrekGirl Well said.

  • @PKTrekGirl the evolution of a great band: MLB, Temple of the dog, and PJ!!!

  • MLB is not Just a band ..its Andys dream Andy soul... Andys beautiful heart hes a mega star of love & rock....

  • brings me back

  • awesome song,...just finding these guys today and already favd 3 of their songs, real nice

  • PJ and MLB both have their places in my heart, no hate, people, no hate.

  • Mother Love Bone>Pearl Jam

  • 3 people misread this for dis i like

  • It would be nice to listen to the music and read comments without once comparing them to any other "grunge" band. It is what it is, great fucking music!

  • @indieindy Everyone has opinions. Some beautiful, some negative and disturbing.

Like life. But yes, I can agree with you, great music. Wicked re-verb.

  • 3 people r bitches!!!!!

  • What is the word on the album cover satyricon about? I mean is it a venue or a band I looked it up and there is a norwegian black metal band with that name that formed in 1990. Just seeing if anybody knows?

  • This one (after all these years of knowing it) goes to her. She knows who she is, and will always be my Stargazer. I love her more than almost anything, for who she is, and what she represents .... if I could ever have the chance to define a real woman, she would win the gold star. Thank you, Shannon, for being who you were then, and who you are now ... I've looked up to you since day 1, and keep on doing so to this day. Love ya' kid .... me.

  • @Mettler12 awwww thats super sweet! lucky girl :)

  • the only way MOST people know of MLB is on the NCAA football game (This Is Shangri-La)

  • Comment removed

  • I remember when all these guys were in these bands b4 ever going to the recognizable bands every one else knows. This was the start of it all.. They'll never die....

  • Comment removed

  • That would be awesome! Mother Love Bone will never die.

  • @corptkm- I would love to see that.. Andrew was so talented.. And Mother Love Bone was and still is one of my favorite bands!! I would def want to get the dvd, esp to hear the unheard songs.

  • @corptkm- I would love to see that.. Andrew was so talented.. And Mother Love Bone was and still is one of my favorite bands!! I would def want to get the dvd.

  • @pennylane11100

New Mother Love Bone - Live discussion fourm now open. Go to: facebook and type in: Mother Love Bone Live

  • Just me, or does anyone think this album is better than anything Peal Jam ever released???

  • @dafty97 i hate to say this but i do not like eddy vedder, i do not like his voice. i love mlb sound, its so so sadd, . i been talkin with xana , what a real nice woman. im just startin to speak to her and i dare to ask about andrew, evem though its been 20 yrs, .but i gess the secret to a band succes is to acommodate the voice of the singer and find that tune that meshes. and i just do not hear mlb in pearl jam. maybe i am wrong.but i miss andrew the more i love mlb.

  • WHEN I HEAR THIS, I WANT TO GET MY AXE AND START SWINGING, START HACKING, START CHOPPING! YEA THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO DO RIGHT NOW. TURN OUT THE LIGHTS AND GOING TO TOWN WITH ALL MY FRIENDS IN TOO CLOSE TO GET OUTSIDE MY SWING. RING DING THERE GOES THE LIMBS YEA!

  • the band that started everything good

  • This is not grunge. And in my opinion Guns n Roses was the first band to change rock with appetite. Then the "grunge" shit came out. Grunge is a label to me. Sounds like rock n fuckin roll!!

  • Someone please give me the meaning of this song? Xana was Andrew's girlfriend...I know that but what was the meaning to fixing him up with a guy and who is Julie Ann?

  • this guy sounds like a lot like ozzy osbourne ... omg. now how many of you did that offend

  • Am i the only non-stoner who listens to MLB?

  • @MASproductionss no , I am clean and sober too and absolutely love MLB

  • @TheGrungegirl1977 Thank goodness!

  • my hubby sang this to me all the time. He's the sweetest guy in the world. To this day I still love him more than life itself. I love you Shawn W.

  • @MsJewelz13 How many songs have you posted this EXACT same message on?

  • @MASproductionss only on the stargazer videos

  • Rock on bro-forever and ever. I've sang this song to you a thousand times. I'm sure we'll see each other again. I KNOW IT. I FEEL YOU.

  • This song is god liike! It rules!!!

  • I have the CD...memories memories, thanks for sharing this!!

  • They are incredible. Takes me back about 20 years. Would be great if Andrew was still with us so we could hear more of his great music. I would rather be listening to MLB than Pearl Jam any day.

  • @dustybud1974 Not me... MLB was and still is one of my all time favorite bands but here's the thing.... you never got to see them grow. It's like if Vedder would of died after 10. If that would of happened that album would to this day be revered even more than it already is. MLB would of had to grow up, break up and re-unite just like all the other great bands for us to really know what a true comparison would mean. They were amazing but not saint-like. I still love him though. As I love Lane.
