I can remember back in the 80's and 90's I watched Waylon so closely...Every time a Waylon Jennings album was going to be released I would know about months in advance, & I would build up with excitement.I would be at the record store waiting for them to open the doors on the release date.I could never understand how there wasn't a line of anxious people waiting along with me. But, as great as Waylon was,I am sure there were millions of people all over the world doing the same thing I was.

Man the guy was pure genius, he was just so down to earth and everyday kinda' man. He's been gone nigh on 8 years and I'm still being surprised by his talent and who he was as a man. Miss ya' Hoss ;-)

"and thats a good ending isnt" how sad and ironic that it is in the trail off of this recording, buddy was olny 22! when he died but he had more talent and knew all phases of the industry so well, what he told waylon is espish-- what ever happened to his wife?maria B.H) waylon died too young, imagine what buddy would have done with a few more decades! why couldnt pat boone,dick dick clark and owen bradly been in that plane!?. waylon=i didnt forget about you im going threw your early lp's THANKS

I believe Maria Elena (Buddy's wife) is stil alive, as she was at one of Tommy Jennings's (Waylon's brother) recent concerts.

Does anybody have "long speaches" by him from when he was younger? Would be great to listen to.
