  • yes. the expectations of the child, to be met with empathy, honesty and nurturing adults to grow with, to find him or herself as part of a nurturant community, are what I call natural expectations.... they are intrinsic, innate, inherent, emerging from within the child.....

  • So much expectation on the children why??We can learn so much from children

  • @ArtByLindaLee You misunderstand. I am articulating natural 'needs' for healthy natural development, into a feeling, intelligent, aware and joyous sense of self, which every child requires, as is biologically mandated. We humans are mandated towards self empathy.

  • @djlookwood Sorry maybe there is a misunderstanding here I was just saying there is so much expectations from children from most people This comment was not directed at you sorry for the misunderstanding here lol I realize what you are dong (great awareness) and i meant why do people place expectations on children ?

  • @ArtByLindaLee Ah yes, I understand you now, and even so was glad of the 'misunderstanding' as it helped articulate what I was saying. It is a question that is worth engaging with. I think it comes from adults who themselves as children were thwarted, and so they seek to live out what they didn't live themselves through their children... this is understandable, and it is a BIG part of Institutional Hierarchical Societies and how they operate -

  • Such Societies USE children to meet the conditioned 'needs' (insecurities) of the adults.... and in this both adult and child are harmed.

  • C tellement JUSTE, mais pour la plupart d'entres nous, malheureusement, on reçoit pas un tel amour...!! J'me trompe..?
