dude... your whole set-up is screwed, first you, you need to pack a better bowl, shiny side of foil down, check for air tightness, dont put your coal on until its all the way burning (perhaps throw another one down), and lastly periodically move your coals around but make sure they stay on the edge of the bowl, not in the middle..

id take this video down cuz its a shitty tutorial and your not teaching the right way to set up a hookah :p

coal in the middle, burns the flavor too fast, and the taste will be very harsh.

And always shiny side down, because it conserves the heat much better, doesnt make the flavor stick to the foil as much and more importantly it doesnt burn the chemicals from the shiny side.

very nice hookah, just a few hints, use Afzal tobacco, use more in the bowl, put ice in the base with cold water, and use japanese charcoal, that quicklite stuff sucks cause it never does anything other than produce heat, the japanese charcoal can almost catch on fire, so ya get a lot more smoke ;)

OK, first thing you need to do. Pack the bowl full, then use 3 coals, light them the whole way. keep them on the outside of the bowl. You will get better clouds.

dude you did just about everything wrong. first off when you pack the bowl, pack it till its right below the brim of the bowl and break it up so its not big chunks. also make sure the aluminum foil is tight over the top of the bowl. yours sags in majorly and so the coal is most likely hitting the shisha and buring it. also wait till the coal is ashed over before putting it on the bowl so that you dont get chemical taste and possibly try to break the coal into pieces

Usaully when I smoke.. I fill the bowl with tobacco.. a little more above the top. Then take folie that covers the whole head and then make holes with a tooth (that you use for to clean after dinner)and make whole all arund the head.. starty from the outside to the inside... with 1 cm space.

Then dont put the charcol in the iddle. start from the side then move around and finally in the middle. :P happy smokie

1st problem: Bowl is underpacked. You can fit a bit more in there.

2nd problem: WAY too many holes in the foil. Your coal should cover all of them. If it does... your smoke will be thicker.

In any case, the aluminum would have to convert to vapor and be inhaled to have an effect on the user. at temperatures below melting point (well above the heat of a coal or lighter) the aluminum stays where it is and isn't absorbed into the body...
