There are big savings to be had in health care by tort reform but that would gore the ox of the Dems' big donors, defense lawyers.

There is not a word about tort reform in the dog's breakfast of a bill so Dems are obviously not interested in bringing down costs of health care but just keeping their money bags happy and expanding government control to our very health and lives.

Speaking of racketeering (but changing the subject a bit) I'm wondering why the czars couldn't be arrested under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act. They should be! The problem is that the Attorney General would have to file the charges, but Obama's Attorney General, Eric Holder, dropped charges against club wielding Black Panthers who were intimidating voters outside a polling place. That's where HIS head is at. He's one of them, and should also be arrested. So what do we do?

Good one, but there is really no difference between an elitist Dem and an elitist Rep these days. For example, of the past 5 presidents 4 are Ivy League College graduates ('09-'80). In those 29 years the country's economy has went from the most robust ever known to bankruptcy. Not counting Regan, he wasn't Ivy League; we had 2 Dem and 2 Rep Ivy League presidents.
