WSorry, I meant my school spend 6000 on colorguard. I guess that makes a bit of a difference. But 10k on props is crazy. But the judges seemed to look past obvious problems (like someone's Tenor drum breaking and someone falling). Probably b/c the giant lobsters going across the bottom of the field distracted them.
But this show, even though the props are massive, they are awesome and only add to the show :)
This so freakin awesome. Our band director gave some software to all of the upcoming seniors to do drill to La Nouba. The one he thinks is the best and that he can revise will be choosen! I hope I do good! Got any tips if you see this lol!
I really like this one!! And my school is spending $6000 on props and flags this year.. the top band in the state spent $10000 on props last year and had 12ft tall motorized clams. That's one reason why they're the top..
Sorry I don't want to sound mean here, but props does not a band make. Just because you have big expensive props doesn't mean you're going to get mad props from the judges lol.
yeah really props mean nothing if your band isnt great i mean the band i am in we had a fantastic show this year and the only money we spent was on some little pieces of wood and new flag uniforms and we have one alot!
well i hope the props would be small, if you didnt notice, some of the players move through them and not around them. may be a problem if you sell like this. just trying to help.
Coming from the prospective of a full-time visual and music consultant, you have done a great job Arjuna!
Nice impact moments, transitions, and soli placements. Very creative. There could have been a pass through or two that raised my eyebrow, but I'll take a second look.
This is my favorite of your series of online drills.
Keep up the good work and creativity! (just don't take my clientele ;))
Thank you! I have quite a few people who like this show! I think I am going to put up a more clear version of this one soon so you will have a better viewing experience. Thanks again!
Yeah! There are riffles..there are riffles practically the whole song. It is just hard to tell them apart from the flags in this video. If you watch hard you can see them toss riffles and spin! The props in this show are overexagerated in size..they are just to get the picture across. Besides, you'd be surprised to see how much money a band can spend on props!! haha! Thanks for viewing!
doesnt' the guard ever get to do rifle or sabre. but other than that nice show but i believe it also relies heavily on the fact that a band has enough money for giant pyramids...it shouldn't need that
What does egypt have to do with cirque du soleil??? The story is supposed to be about a lonely girl....

but if you can bloww 10k a year on shit like that then you can get top instructors, new instruments, and very well arranged drill and music.
