Amazing how fast the Little Ones grow. Mine grew from that size to the size of the much bigger one in about 2 weeks! The possums at my place are wild, I feed them fruit and a few minutes ago I almost touched the Mother, she came right up to me to take fruit - grapes, banana and apple to-night.
Dont be afraid to pat them they are very gentle really, just keep giving them grapes night after nite and after a week or so you will be able to stroke them, they will need to be fed in a place where they feel safe or where they can escape quickly at first. They go crazy over red grapes or banana with a little maple syrup on it.
Ahhh, so that's how you got the possum in your video to eat fruit - maple syrup :) I felt bad about feeding mine sweet stuff all the time and tried some apples and other fruit, but they wouldn't touch anything but the junk food.

They are the regular North American variety. Looks more like what they sell here as a sugar glider.

It's an Common Bush Tail possum from Australia, so actaully yes it IS a possum.
